且悟諸事、較吾主基督耶穌至道為損、故篾棄諸事、視為糞土、致獲乎基督、

且我視萬事為有損、因皆不如得識我主耶穌基督、我為彼遺棄諸事、視為糞土、惟欲得基督、顯我屬彼、

以予視之、一切莫非失也；惟認識吾主基督耶穌之為得耳。因此予已犧牲一切、而視之如糟粕、一心惟望贏得基督、

What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ

Even more, I consider everything to be nothing compared to knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. To know him is worth much more than anything else. Because of him I have lost everything. But I consider all of it to be garbage so I can know Christ better.

Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ

They should boast that they know and understand that I, the LORD, act out of faithfulness, fairness, and justice in the earth and that I desire people to do these things,” says the LORD.

Now this is eternal life– that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent.

I can pray this because his divine power has bestowed on us everything necessary for life and godliness through the rich knowledge of the one who called us by his own glory and excellence.

My aim is to know him, to experience the power of his resurrection, to share in his sufferings, and to be like him in his death,

But I do not consider my life worth anything to myself, so that I may finish my task and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace.

But these assets I have come to regard as liabilities because of Christ.

For I consider that our present sufferings cannot even be compared to the glory that will be revealed to us.

Then Peter said to him,“ Look, we have left everything to follow you! For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as men condemned to die, because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to people.We are fools for Christ, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, we are dishonored!To the present hour we are hungry and thirsty, poorly clothed, brutally treated, and without a roof over our heads.We do hard work, toiling with our own hands. When we are verbally abused, we respond with a blessing, when persecuted, we endure,when people lie about us, we answer in a friendly manner. We are the world’s dirt and scum, even now.

you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,and thus to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

“ The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure, hidden in a field, that a person found and hid. Then because of joy he went and sold all that he had and bought that field.“ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls.When he found a pearl of great value, he went out and sold everything he had and bought it.

until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God– a mature person, attaining to the measure of Christ’s full stature.

So you who believe see his value, but for those who do not believe, the stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,
