I want to know Christ— yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,

that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;

My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death,

I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So the life I now live in the body, I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

This saying is trustworthy: If we died with him, we will also live with him.If we endure, we will also reign with him. If we deny him, he will also deny us.

And if children, then heirs( namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ)– if indeed we suffer with him so we may also be glorified with him.

and what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of his immense strength.This power he exercised in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realmsfar above every rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

More than that, I now regard all things as liabilities compared to the far greater value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things– indeed, I regard them as dung!– that I may gain Christ,

Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

Or do you not know that as many as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?Therefore we have been buried with him through baptism into death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may live a new life.For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also be united in the likeness of his resurrection.We know that our old man was crucified with him so that the body of sin would no longer dominate us, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.( For someone who has died has been freed from sin.)Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.We know that since Christ has been raised from the dead, he is never going to die again; death no longer has mastery over him.For the death he died, he died to sin once for all, but the life he lives, he lives to God.So you too consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

So, since Christ suffered in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same attitude, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin,in that he spends the rest of his time on earth concerned about the will of God and not human desires.

But rejoice in the degree that you have shared in the sufferings of Christ, so that when his glory is revealed you may also rejoice and be glad.If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory, who is the Spirit of God, rests on you.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and I fill up in my physical body– for the sake of his body, the church– what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ.

Now by this we know that we have come to know God: if we keep his commandments.

because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

For indeed he was crucified by reason of weakness, but he lives because of God’s power. For we also are weak in him, but we will live together with him, because of God’s power toward you.

For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow toward us, so also our comfort through Christ overflows to you.

always carrying around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our body.For we who are alive are constantly being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our mortal body.As a result, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.But since we have the same spirit of faith as that shown in what has been written,“ I believed; therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore we also speak.

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live even if he dies,and the one who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Now this is eternal life– that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

He delivered us from so great a risk of death, and he will deliver us. We have set our hope on him that he will deliver us yet again,

And even though you were dead in your transgressions and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he nevertheless made you alive with him, having forgiven all your transgressions.

For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also came through a man.For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to him.

But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is your life because of righteousness.Moreover if the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through his Spirit who lives in you.

No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down of my own free will. I have the authority to lay it down, and I have the authority to take it back again. This commandment I received from my Father.”

He told them,“ You will drink my cup, but to sit at my right and at my left is not mine to give. Rather, it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father.”

David by foreseeing this spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that he was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did his body experience decay.This Jesus God raised up, and we are all witnesses of it.So then, exalted to the right hand of God, and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, he has poured out what you both see and hear.For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says,‘ The Lord said to my lord,“ Sit at my right handuntil I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’Therefore let all the house of Israel know beyond a doubt that God has made this Jesus whom you crucified both Lord and Christ.”Now when they heard this, they were acutely distressed and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles,“ What should we do, brothers?”Peter said to them,“ Repent, and each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes.Furthermore, the Father does not judge anyone, but has assigned all judgment to the Son,so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.“ I tell you the solemn truth, the one who hears my message and believes the one who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has crossed over from death to life.I tell you the solemn truth, a time is coming– and is now here– when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in himself, thus he has granted the Son to have life in himself,and he has granted the Son authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.“ Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voiceand will come out– the ones who have done what is good to the resurrection resulting in life, and the ones who have done what is evil to the resurrection resulting in condemnation.

until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God– a mature person, attaining to the measure of Christ’s full stature.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also we believe that God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep as Christians.For we tell you this by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will surely not go ahead of those who have fallen asleep.

and the one who lives! I was dead, but look, now I am alive– forever and ever– and I hold the keys of death and of Hades!
