既有人之式、又屈己、承順至死、甚而死於十架、

既為人、猶屈己順命致死、甚而死於十字架、

自卑而順服至死、甚而死於十字架、

其為人也、復謙之又謙、損之又損、惟天主之命是從；鞠躬盡瘁、死而後已、終至致命於十字架上。

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!

He appeared as a man. He was humble and obeyed God completely. He did this even though it led to his death. Even worse, he died on a cross!

keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne.

For just as through one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.

Going a little farther, He fell facedown and prayed,“ My Father! If it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.”

He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people for His own possession, eager to do good works.

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, because it is written: Everyone who is hung on a tree is cursed.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ: Though He was rich, for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich.

In His humiliation justice was denied Him. Who will describe His generation? For His life is taken from the earth.

In the same way, the Messiah did not exalt Himself to become a high priest, but the One who said to Him, You are My Son; today I have become Your Father,also said in another passage, You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.During His earthly life, He offered prayers and appeals with loud cries and tears to the One who was able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverence.Though He was God’s Son, He learned obedience through what He suffered.After He was perfected, He became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him,

The fear of the Lord is what wisdom teaches, and humility comes before honor.

Father, glorify Your name!” Then a voice came from heaven:“ I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again!”The crowd standing there heard it and said it was thunder. you are not to leave his corpse on the tree overnight but are to bury him that day, for anyone hung on a tree is under God’s curse. You must not defile the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.

On the contrary, I am going away so that the world may know that I love the Father. Just as the Father commanded Me, so I do.“ Get up; let’s leave this place.

Then I said,“ See— it is written about Me in the volume of the scroll— I have come to do Your will, God!”After He says above, You did not want or delight in sacrifices and offerings, whole burnt offerings and sin offerings( which are offered according to the law),He then says, See, I have come to do Your will. He takes away the first to establish the second.

You do not delight in sacrifice and offering; You open my ears to listen. You do not ask for a whole burnt offering or a sin offering.Then I said,“ See, I have come; it is written about me in the volume of the scroll.I delight to do Your will, my God; Your instruction lives within me.”

If you keep My commands you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commands and remain in His love.

Again, a second time, He went away and prayed,“ My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, Your will be done.”

For dogs have surrounded me; a gang of evildoers has closed in on me; they pierced my hands and my feet.

As He was praying, the appearance of His face changed, and His clothes became dazzling white.

After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John and led them up on a high mountain by themselves to be alone. He was transformed in front of them,and His clothes became dazzling— extremely white as no launderer on earth could whiten them.

“ My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work,” Jesus told them.

He was transformed in front of them, and His face shone like the sun. Even His clothes became as white as the light.
