as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.

You will shine as you hold on tight to the word of life. Then I will be able to boast about you on the day Christ returns. I can be happy that I didn’t run or work for nothing.

But I said,“ I have labored in vain, I have spent My strength for nothing and futility; Nevertheless, the justice due to Me is with the Lord, And My reward is with My God.”

But what does it say?“ The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”— that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.For the Scripture says,“ Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.”For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;for“ Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”How then are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? How are they to believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?But how are they to preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written:“ How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says,“ Lord, who has believed our report?”

God, You have taught me from my youth, And I still declare Your wondrous deeds.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness,and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,

so that your pride in Christ Jesus may be abundant because of me by my coming to you again.Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear about you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

“ Now I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before people, the Son of Man will also confess him before the angels of God;

It was because of a revelation that I went up; and I submitted to them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but I did so in private to those who were of reputation, for fear that somehow I might be running, or had run, in vain.

For this reason, when I could no longer endure it, I also sent to find out about your faith, for fear that the tempter might have tempted you, and our labor would be for nothing.

For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

For who is our hope, or joy or crown of pride, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? Or is it not indeed you?

I have proclaimed good news of righteousness in the great congregation; Behold, I will not restrain my lips, Lord, You know.

“ Brothers, sons of Abraham’s family, and those among you who fear God, to us the message of this salvation has been sent.

I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored over you in vain.

The Spirit and the bride say,“ Come.” And let the one who hears say,“ Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires, take the water of life without cost.

What I tell you in the darkness, tell in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim on the housetops.
