雖然、是亦何傷？無論其心意之誠也偽也、其揄揚基督則一；此吾之所為歡欣鼓舞、而不能自已者也。

But Jesus said,“ Don’t stop him! Anyone who is not against you is for you.”

John said to Jesus,“ Teacher, we saw someone using your name to cast out demons, but we told him to stop because he wasn’t in our group.”“ Don’t stop him!” Jesus said.“ No one who performs a miracle in my name will soon be able to speak evil of me.Anyone who is not against us is for us.

So it makes no difference whether I preach or they preach, for we all preach the same message you have already believed.

And because of my imprisonment, most of the believers here have gained confidence and boldly speak God’s message without fear.It’s true that some are preaching out of jealousy and rivalry. But others preach about Christ with pure motives.They preach because they love me, for they know I have been appointed to defend the Good News.Those others do not have pure motives as they preach about Christ. They preach with selfish ambition, not sincerely, intending to make my chains more painful to me.

Well then, what shall I do? I will pray in the spirit, and I will also pray in words I understand. I will sing in the spirit, and I will also sing in words I understand.
