然則何如乎、無論或偽或誠、基督是宣、我則樂之、且終樂之、

然則余將若何、凡事不論真偽、有傳基督道者、我樂之、亦終樂之、

然此亦何妨、其意或偽或誠、無論如何、基督究以是而傳矣、我為之而樂、亦必終樂、

雖然、是亦何傷？無論其心意之誠也偽也、其揄揚基督則一；此吾之所為歡欣鼓舞、而不能自已者也。

耶穌對他說：「不要阻止他，因為不反對你們的，就是支持你們的。」

約翰說：「老師，我們看見一個人奉你的名驅趕鬼魔，我們就去阻止他，因為他不是跟從我們的。」耶穌說：「不要阻止他。因為沒有人奉我的名行了神蹟以後，會立即誹謗我。不反對我們的，就是支持我們的。

因此無論是我，或是他們，我們都如此傳，你們也就如此信了。

並且大多數的弟兄因著我所受的捆鎖，就在主裡深信不疑、無所懼怕，更加大膽地傳講這話語。有些人傳揚基督固然是出於嫉妒和紛爭，但也有些人是出於好意。後者是出於愛，知道我是為辯護福音而受委派的；前者傳講基督是出於爭競，不是出於真誠，想要在我的捆鎖中，增加我的患難。

那麼該怎麼辦呢？我要用靈禱告，也要用理性禱告；我要用靈歌頌，也要用理性歌頌。

「經文士和法利賽人哪，你們這些偽善的人有禍了！因為你們在人的面前封閉了天國。你們自己不進去，也不讓正要進的人進去。

可是他們不明白這話，因為這話的意思對他們是隱藏的，使他們不能領悟。他們也不敢問耶穌這話的意思。

那麼怎麼樣呢？我們猶太人比別人好嗎？當然不是！我們已經指出：猶太人和外邦人都在罪孽之下。

他們侵吞寡婦的家產，又假意做很長的禱告。這些人將受到更重的懲罰。」

那又怎麼樣呢？難道因為我們不在律法之下而在恩典之下，就可以犯罪嗎？絕對不可！

那麼，我怎麼說呢？難道說祭過偶像的食物算得了什麼嗎？或說，偶像算得了什麼嗎？
