我所祈者、使爾愛於知識通達而愈充溢、致能驗至善、純粹無疵、迄於基督之日、充以義之實、由耶穌基督、致榮與頌歸於上帝、○

爾有此而擴充之、則必使爾於識我主耶穌基督、不怠不荒、

如是、爾之光亦當照乎人前、俾人見爾善行、榮爾在天之父焉、○

我兄弟乎、人若自謂有信而無行、何益之有、信能救之乎、

於異邦宜正爾行、使素謗爾為惡者見之、則榮上帝於眷顧之日、

凡我同人、宜學善工、以資所需、免不結實、

其心之隱微顯露、即伏拜上帝、言上帝誠在爾中矣、○

如是信而無行、乃死耳、

蓋此供事之役、不第補聖徒之空乏、且因感謝之多、而得充裕也、由此役驗爾、以爾承順基督福音、博施於彼、且及於眾、歸榮上帝、亦以上帝在爾中之厚恩、戀慕乎爾、為爾祈禱、

兄弟乎、我猶有言、凡真實、端重、公義、清潔、可愛者、可稱者、或有何德何譽、爾宜念之、

蓋上帝非不義、忘爾之工、及向其名所彰之愛、以爾素役事聖徒、今亦役事之、

為婦者、宜服爾夫、或夫不從道、致外乎道、由婦所行、亦可得之、

既懷無虧之良、及受謗言、使讒爾宗基督之善行者、自覺羞愧、
