昔猶大人居我聖山、而飲苦杯、列邦之人、亦必群飲、且飲且啜、歸於死亡、

爾曹猶大人在我聖山、已飲苦杯、列邦之人、亦必恆飲、且飲且吸、歸於烏有、若原未有、

Just as you drank on my holy hill, so all the nations will drink continually; they will drink and drink and be as if they had never been.

You Edomites made my holy mountain of Zion impure by drinking and celebrating there. So all the nations will drink from the cup of my anger. And they will keep on drinking from it. They will vanish. It will be as if they had never existed.

For as you have drunk on my holy mountain, so all the nations shall drink continually; they shall drink and swallow, and shall be as though they had never been.

Just as you swallowed up my people on my holy mountain, so you and the surrounding nations will swallow the punishment I pour out on you. Yes, all you nations will drink and stagger and disappear from history.

耶和华如此说：“看哪，既然原不该喝那杯的一定要喝，你能免去惩罚吗？必不能免，一定要喝！

你们就知道我是耶和华—你们的上帝，我住在锡安—我的圣山。耶路撒冷必成为圣；陌生人不再从其中经过。

你的主，耶和华，就是为他百姓辩护的上帝如此说：“看哪，我已从你手中接过那使人东倒西歪的杯，就是我愤怒的杯，你必不再喝。我必将这杯递在苦待你的人手中。他们曾对你说：‘你屈身，任我们践踏过去吧！’你就以背为地，又如街道，任人走过。

耶和华—以色列的上帝对我如此说：“你从我手中拿这杯愤怒的酒，给我所差遣你去的各国的百姓喝。他们喝了就要东倒西歪，并要发狂，因我使刀剑临到他们中间。”

因为时候到了，审判要从上帝的家开始；若是先从我们开始，那么，不信从上帝福音的人将有何等的结局呢？

那时，攻击亚利伊勒列国的军队，与一切攻击亚利伊勒和它城堡，并带给它患难的，必如梦，如夜间的异象；又像饥饿的人在梦中吃饭，醒了仍觉饥肠辘辘；或像口渴的人在梦中喝水，醒了仍觉发昏，心里想喝。攻击锡安山列国的军队也必如此。

都为施行残暴而来，他们的脸面向东，聚集俘虏，多如尘沙。

“你要对他们说：‘万军之耶和华—以色列的上帝如此说：你们要喝，且要喝醉，要呕吐，且要跌倒，不再起来，都因我使刀剑临到你们中间。’“他们若不肯从你手中拿这杯来喝，你就要对他们说：‘万军之耶和华如此说：你们一定要喝！看哪，我既从称为我名下的城起首施行灾祸，你们能免去惩罚吗？你们必不能免，因为我要命刀剑临到地上所有的居民。这是万军之耶和华说的。’

万民哪，任凭你们行恶，终必毁灭；远方的众人哪，当侧耳而听！任凭你们束腰，终必毁灭；你们束起腰来，终必毁灭。任凭你们筹算什么，终必无效；不管你们讲定什么，总不成立；因为上帝与我们同在。

耶和华的手里有杯，杯内满了调和起沫的酒；他倒出来，地上的恶人都必喝，直到喝尽它的渣滓。但我要宣扬，直到永远！我要歌颂雅各的上帝！

但耶和华如此说：“就是勇士所掳掠的，也可以夺回；残暴者所抢的，也可以得解救。与你相争的，我必与他相争，我也要拯救你的儿女。我必使那欺压你的吃自己的肉，饮自己的血，如喝甜酒喝醉一样。凡有血肉之躯的都必知道我—耶和华是你的救主，是你的救赎主，是雅各的大能者。”

我许久闭口不言，沉默不语；现在我要像临产的妇人，大声喊叫，呼吸急促而喘气。
