爾猶大人、在我聖山而飲、萬邦亦將如是恆飲、且飲且咽、將若未嘗有者、

昔猶大人居我聖山、而飲苦杯、列邦之人、亦必群飲、且飲且啜、歸於死亡、

爾曹猶大人在我聖山、已飲苦杯、列邦之人、亦必恆飲、且飲且吸、歸於烏有、若原未有、

Just as you drank on my holy hill, so all the nations will drink continually; they will drink and drink and be as if they had never been.

You Edomites made my holy mountain of Zion impure by drinking and celebrating there. So all the nations will drink from the cup of my anger. And they will keep on drinking from it. They will vanish. It will be as if they had never existed.

For as you have drunk on my holy mountain, so all the nations shall drink continually; they shall drink and swallow, and shall be as though they had never been.

Just as you swallowed up my people on my holy mountain, so you and the surrounding nations will swallow the punishment I pour out on you. Yes, all you nations will drink and stagger and disappear from history.

As you have drunk on my holy mountain, so all the nations will drink continually. They will drink and gulp down and be as though they had never been.

For just as you drank on My holy mountain, All the nations will drink continually. They will drink to the last drop, And become as if they had never existed.

因為永恆主這麼說：『看哪，那原不該喝那杯的尚且一定得喝，何況你，你能盡免於受罰麼？你必不能免受刑罰：你一定得喝。

『你們就知道我永恆主你們的上帝是住在錫安、我的聖山的。那時耶路撒冷必成為聖；外族人必不再從其中經過。

你的主永恆主、你的上帝、為他人民辯訴的、這麼說：『看哪，我已把那使人東倒西歪的杯、我烈怒的杯爵、從你手中接過來了；你必不再喝它；我必將這杯遞在那苦待你、的人手中，因為他們曾對你說：『你俯首屈身，讓我們踹過去！你便使背脊像地，好像街道、任人踹過去』。

永恆主以色列的上帝對我這麼說：『你把這杯烈怒的酒從我手中接過去，叫我所差遣你到的列國的人喝。他們喝了就會搖搖晃晃，瘋瘋癲癲，是因為刀劍的緣故，就是我所打發到他們中間去的。』

因為時候到了，審判必須從上帝的家起始。既先從你們起始，那麼那些硬不信從上帝福音的人、會有甚麼樣的結局呢？

那時那些攻擊亞利伊勒的列國軍眾、就是一切攻擊她和她的營寨、以及那窘迫她的、必都像夢景，像夜間的異象。也必像肚子餓的人在作夢；夢見在喫呢！趕到醒來，肚子仍覺虛空！或像口渴的人在作夢；夢見在喝呢！趕到醒來，仍覺疲乏，心裏仍渴慕着。那攻擊錫安山的列國軍眾也必這樣。

他們都為了行強暴而來；未到之先、人就懼怕他們。他們聚集被擄的人、多如塵沙。

『你要對他們說：「萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝這麼說：你們要喝到醉，到嘓嘓吐，以致倒下去，不能再起來，是因為刀劍的緣故，就是我所打發到你們中間去的。」『他們若不肯把這杯從你手中接過去喝，你就要對他們說：「萬軍之永恆主這麼說：你們一定要喝！因為你看，在那稱為我名下的城我既開始降了災禍，你們能全然免受刑罰麼？你們必不能免受刑罰，因為我要呼喚刀劍來責罰這地所有的居民：這是萬軍之永恆主發神諭說的。」

萬族之民哪，明白吧，你們終必驚慌；遠地之眾民哪，側耳以聽哦！束起腰吧，你們終必驚慌；束起腰吧，你們終必驚慌。謀畫陰謀吧，終必歸於失敗；一言言定吧，終必不能成立；因為上帝與我們同在。

因為永恆主手裏有個杯；那酒是紅的；滿了攙雜的料；他倒出來，連渣滓都倒盡；地上所有的惡人必都喝這酒，喝到乾杯。但是我，我要宣揚到永遠；我要唱揚雅各的上帝：

實在的，永恆主是這麼說：『就是勇士擄掠的、也可以拿回，就使強橫人拿去的、也可以搭救過來；跟你相爭的、我必跟他相爭；你的兒女、我必拯救。我必使欺負你的、喫自己的肉，他們也必喝自己的血到醉，像喝甜酒一樣；血肉之人都必知道我永恆主乃是拯救你的，是贖回你的，是雅各之大能者。』

許久我都緘默靜寂，自己忍住，現在我卻要號呼、像臨產的婦人，一直噓噓喘氣。
