They may assist their brothers in performing their duties at the tent of meeting, but they themselves must not do the work. This, then, is how you are to assign the responsibilities of the Levites.”

利未族中亞希雅掌上帝殿中府庫、及所獻寶物。革順族拉但家之最著者耶葉、耶葉子西但、約耳、掌耶和華殿寶物。暗蘭、以斯哈、希伯崙、烏泄四族、亦有職事。摩西孫、革順子、示拔掌府庫。革順弟以列撒、以列撒耳孫、哩哈比玄孫、以賽亞曾孫、約蘭孫、色哩子示羅密。示羅密及其兄弟掌寶物、乃大闢王與族中之最著、及千夫長百夫長、武士長所獻者也。彼戰時所獲貨財、獻之以建耶和華殿。先見者撒母耳、基士子掃羅、尼耳子押尼耳、西魯雅子約押、及眾所獻者、俱為示羅密及其兄弟所掌。以斯哈族、基拿尼及其子、為民長士師、理以色列外事。

爾不守我聖所、乃使他人代之、因以取利。
