“ Then the Levites are to lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, using one for a sin offering to the Lord and the other for a burnt offering, to make atonement for the Levites.

“ Then I want the Levites to place their hands on the heads of the bulls. They must sacrifice one bull as a sin offering to me. And they must sacrifice the other as a burnt offering. The blood of the bulls will pay for the sin of the Levites.

Then the Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to the Lord to make atonement for the Levites.

“ Next the Levites will lay their hands on the heads of the young bulls. Present one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering to the Lord, to purify the Levites and make them right with the Lord.

献祭者要把手放在牛头上，所献的燔祭便蒙悦纳，为他赎罪。

然后叫他们带来一头公牛犊及作素祭的调了油的细面粉，你要另献一头公牛犊作赎罪祭。

“他若献不起羊，就要献给耶和华两只斑鸠或两只雏鸽，一只作赎罪祭，一只作燔祭。

然后，摩西献上作燔祭的公绵羊，亚伦父子们把手放在羊头上。

“亚伦要把那只为他作赎罪祭的公牛犊牵来宰杀，为自己和全家赎罪，

今天所做的这一切都是耶和华吩咐的，是为你们赎罪。

亚伦要先献上那头公牛犊作赎罪祭，为自己和全家赎罪。

献祭者要像取出平安祭牲的脂肪一样，取出母绵羊的所有脂肪。祭司要把这一切放在坛上，与献给耶和华的祭物一起焚烧。这样，祭司为他赎了罪，他就会得到赦免。

随后，摩西对亚伦说：“你要到坛前来，献上你的赎罪祭和燔祭，为自己和民众赎罪。也要按照耶和华的吩咐，为百姓献上他们的祭物，为他们赎罪。”

因以色列人的污秽、叛逆和罪恶，他要这样为至圣所赎罪。他也要同样为会幕赎罪，因为会幕座落在以色列人中间，处在他们的污秽中。从他进入圣所为自己全家和以色列全体会众赎罪开始，直到他赎完罪出来为止，任何人都不可待在会幕里。之后，他要来到耶和华面前的祭坛那里，为祭坛赎罪。他要取一些牛血和羊血，抹在祭坛的四角上，用手指向祭坛洒血七次，除掉以色列人的污秽，使祭坛圣洁。

根据律法，几乎所有的器具都要用血来洁净，因为若不流血，罪就得不到赦免。

还要按自己的能力献两只斑鸠或雏鸽，一只作赎罪祭，一只作燔祭。

要把一些鸟血洒在祭坛边，剩下的血要倒在坛脚旁。这是赎罪祭。祭司要依照献燔祭的条例献上另一只鸟。这样，祭司为他赎了罪，他就会得到赦免。

在那里献给耶和华一只毫无残疾、一岁的公羊羔作燔祭，一只毫无残疾、一岁母羊羔作赎罪祭，一只毫无残疾的公绵羊作平安祭，

祭司要献上赎罪祭，为求洁净者赎罪。然后，祭司要宰杀燔祭牲，在祭坛上献燔祭和素祭，为他赎罪，他就洁净了。

正如取出赎罪祭牲的脂肪一样。这样，大祭司为全体会众赎了罪，他们就会得到赦免。

祭司要把这些祭物带到耶和华面前，为他献上赎罪祭和燔祭，

把双手放在羊头上，承认以色列人的过犯、叛逆和罪恶，将这一切罪归到公山羊的头上，然后派人把它送到旷野。
