When Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the atonement cover on the ark of the covenant law. In this way the Lord spoke to him.

Moses entered the tent of meeting. He wanted to speak with the Lord. There Moses heard the Lord talking to him. The Lord’ s voice was speaking to him from between the two cherubim. The cherubim were over the place where sin is paid for. It was the cover on the ark where the tablets of the covenant law were kept. In this way the Lord spoke to Moses.

And when Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim; and it spoke to him.

Whenever Moses went into the Tabernacle to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the Ark’s cover— the place of atonement— that rests on the Ark of the Covenant. The Lord spoke to him from there.

以色列之牧者、導約瑟一族、若導群羊兮、請聽我祈、爾居𠼻𡀔［口氷］間、彰爾榮光兮、

入時、雲狀如柱、下止幕門、耶和華與摩西言。民目擊之、各於幕門、俯伏以拜。耶和華與摩西晤對、如人與友相語、摩西歸營、惟嫩之子約書亞。為摩西從者、弗離於幕。

使覿我面、與之晤言、明以相告、毋庸隱喻、爾曹非之、曷不懼乎。

耶和華居𠼻𡀔［口氷］間、治理寰區、億兆寅畏、大地震動兮、

用圓輪法作二𠼻𡀔［口氷］、置施恩所之兩旁、每旁各一、於施恩所之上、𠼻𡀔［口氷］高展其翮、覆翼相對、俯視施恩之所。置施恩之所於匱上、以我所告之律法藏於中。我將降臨於𠼻𡀔［口氷］間、法匱施恩所之上、以諭言示爾、使告以色列族。○

故當毅然至沾恩之位之前、得矜恤恩寵、適合機宜而助我、

先知既得默示、言其傳道、非獨為己、乃為我儕、今蒙天降聖神、使宣福音、以傳斯道與爾、天使亦欲詳察斯道、

出埃及後、二年二月朔、耶和華在西乃野、會幕中、諭摩西、曰、

後殿之中、作𠼻𡀔［口氷］二、各高一丈、俱油木所製。

當時有居𠼻𡀔［口氷］間萬物主耶和華之約匱在示羅、以利二子、何弗尼非尼哈在側、民遣使詣彼、以攜之至。
