但我對你們說過，你們要承受他們的土地；我要把這流奶與蜜之地賜給你們，作為你們的產業。我是耶和華－你們的上帝，是把你們從萬民中分別出來的。你們要分辨潔淨和不潔淨的飛禽走獸；不可因我定為不潔淨的飛禽走獸，或爬行在土地上的任何生物，使自己成為可憎惡的。你們要歸我為聖，因為－我耶和華是神聖的；我把你們從萬民中分別出來，作我的子民。

凡不潔淨的，和那行可憎與虛謊之事的人，都不得進那城，只有名字寫在羔羊生命冊上的才得進去。

我必住在以色列人中間，並不丟棄我的百姓以色列。」

我聽見有大聲音從寶座出來，說：「看哪，上帝的帳幕在人間！他要和他們同住，他們要作他的子民。上帝要親自與他們同在。

他們必不得住耶和華的地；以法蓮卻要返回埃及，在亞述吃不潔淨的食物。

上帝的殿和偶像有甚麼相同？因為我們是永生上帝的殿，就如上帝曾說：「我要在他們中間居住來往；我要作他們的上帝，他們要作我的子民。」所以主說：「你們務要從他們中間出來，跟他們分別；不要沾不潔淨的東西，我就收納你們。
