我延袤爾境、自紅海至非利士人海、自曠野至大河、斯土之民、付於爾手、逐於爾前。毋與其人立約、毋事其上帝。勿容之居斯土、恐誘爾獲罪於我、若奉其上帝、則必陷爾於坎阱。

爾與斯土之民、不可立約、必摧其壇、汝不遵命、果何為哉。

耶和華使民滅此異邦、民不聽從兮、乃偕異邦人、爰居爰處、染其污俗兮、事其偶像、罹於罪網兮、

爾所驅之民、服事其上帝、無論高山之巔、茂林之下、爾必廢其處、摧其壇、毀其像、爇其偶、斫其所雕刻之形、滅其名於斯土、

爾所往之地、勿與其民立約、恐陷爾於坎阱。必摧其壇、毀其像、斫其偶、斷不容爾以他上帝匹我、此乃我耶和華之名也、故他上帝爾勿崇拜。勿與居民立約、恐彼狥欲、從其上帝而獻祭、遂招爾曹共食祭物。恐爾取其女為媳、其女狥欲從其上帝、以惑爾子亦狥欲以從。毋鑄上帝像。

雕刻之像、像上帝者、乃爾上帝耶和華所惡、必燬以火、如其上飾以金銀、爾毋貪毋取、恐陷爾於罪。毋攜可惡之物入室、必憾之絕之、不然、爾必見絕、有類於彼。

勿與爾中之遺民往來、勿稱其上帝之名、毋指以誓、毋服事、毋崇拜。

則當謹恪、勿陷於坎阱、勿求其上帝、意謂斯民服事其上帝、我亦必如是以行。蓋彼爇子女、以事其上帝、凡耶和華所惡之事、無不作為、爾之事爾上帝耶和華勿是則是效。

以色列族刃擊居民、翦滅其眾、凡有血氣者、靡有孑遺、遂焚夏朔以火。約書亞取諸邑、與其王、以刃擊之、翦滅其眾、靡有孑遺、循耶和華僕摩西之命。
