我定爾界、由紅海至非利士海、由曠野至大河、我必將斯地之居民、付於爾手、必逐之於爾前、毋與斯民及其神立約、毋容其居爾境內、恐誘爾獲罪於我、爾若事其神、則必陷於罪網、

惟爾不可與斯地之居民立約、當毀其祭壇、爾竟不遵我言、爾何為哉、

於爾中所遺之民、勿入其中雜處、彼所敬之神、勿稱其名、勿指以發誓、勿奉事、勿叩拜、

彼見滅於爾前之後、慎毋隨其惡俗陷於罪網、毋求其所敬之神、毋自言此諸國之民、如何事其諸神、我亦欲如是行、彼事其神、凡主所憎所惡之事皆作、甚至焚子女於火、以事其神、爾事主爾之天主、斷不可如是而行、

其中之人、擊以刃而盡滅之、不留一人、遂以火焚夏瑣、此諸王之城邑、約書亞悉取之、又擒獲其王、擊之以刃而盡滅之、循主之僕摩西所命、
