利未人中，凡一个月以上所有被数的男子，共有二万三千名。他们没有数在以色列人中；因为在以色列人中，没有分给他们产业。

耶和华从远方向我显现：“我以永远的爱爱你，因此，我以慈爱吸引你。”

凡被数的利未人，就是摩西、亚伦照耶和华所指示、按宗族所数的，一个月以上所有的男子共有二万二千名。耶和华对摩西说：“你要数点以色列人中凡一个月以上头生的男子，登记他们的名字。

爱我的，我也爱他，恳切寻求我的，必寻见。

他们所有奉给耶和华的，无论是人是牲畜，凡头胎的，都要归给你；但是人的长子，一定要赎出来。不洁净牲畜中头生的，也要赎出来。其中一个月以上所当赎的，要照你的估价，按圣所的舍客勒，付五舍客勒银子将他赎回，一舍客勒是二十季拉。

按人名的数目，凡一个月以上头生的男子共有二万二千二百七十三名。

耶稣看见就很生气，对门徒说：“让小孩到我这里来，不要阻止他们，因为在上帝国的正是这样的人。
