利未人中，凡一个月以外、被数的男丁，共有二万三千。他们本来没有数在以色列人中；因为在以色列人中，没有分给他们产业。

古时耶和华向以色列显现，说：‘我以永远的爱爱你，因此我以慈爱吸引你。’

凡被数的利未人，就是摩西、亚伦照耶和华吩咐所数的，按着家室，从一个月以外的男子，共有二万二千名。耶和华对摩西说：“你要从以色列人中数点一个月以外、凡头生的男子，把他们的名字记下。

爱我的，我也爱他；恳切寻求我的，必寻得见。

他们所有奉给耶和华的，连人带牲畜，凡头生的，都要归给你；只是人头生的，总要赎出来；不洁净牲畜头生的，也要赎出来。其中在一月之外所当赎的，要照你所估定的价，按圣所的平，用银子五舍客勒赎出来（一舍客勒是二十季拉）。

按人名的数目，从一个月以外、凡头生的男子，共有二万二千二百七十三名。

耶稣看见就恼怒，对门徒说：“让小孩子到我这里来，不要禁止他们；因为在神国的，正是这样的人。

利未人却没有按着支派数在其中，

按所有男子的数目，从一个月以外看守圣所的，共有八千六百名。

并且知道你是从小明白圣经，这圣经能使你因信基督耶稣，有得救的智慧。

其中被数、从一个月以外所有的男子共有七千五百名。

“你去向耶路撒冷人的耳中喊叫说，耶和华如此说：‘你幼年的恩爱，婚姻的爱情，你怎样在旷野，在未曾耕种之地跟随我，我都记得。

他们被数的，按所有男子的数目，从一个月以外的，共有六千二百名。
