他無需乎像那些大祭司、每日先要替自己的罪、然後替人民的罪獻上祭物；因為他把自己獻上，就將這事儘一次作完了。

永恆主雖定意用憂患將他壓傷，但他將本身獻為賠罪祭時，他卻要看到他的後裔，並且延年益壽，而永恆主定的旨意也必在他手中順利地實現，

『關於你本國人民和你的聖城、已經截定了七十個七，為要結束罪過，了結罪惡，除盡罪孽，引進永久的義，印證異象和神言人的話，膏抹至聖之地。你要知道，要明白，從神諭之發出：「恢復並重建耶路撒冷」，直到有受膏之人君的時候、必有七十個七。經歷了六十二個七，耶路撒冷城必得恢復、重新建造，有廣場有濠溝，這又是在困苦時候造的。六十二個七之後，必有一位受膏者要被剪除，而一無所有；必有一位將來的人君的兵眾來毁滅這城和這聖所。其結局必在橫流淹沒中；必有爭戰直到末了；荒涼的事乃是鐵定了的。

亞倫要把那隻拈歸永恆主的公山羊供獻為解罪祭。

他也不是必須多次地供獻自己、像大祭司每年靠着不是自己的血的、去進入聖所一樣。假使如此，從世界創立以來，他就必須多次受苦了！其實他在今世的末期、乃是儘一次地顯現，藉着自己之奉獻為祭、好把罪廢掉的。按所保留給人的、只有一次的死，死後有審判。基督也這樣；基督也是只有一次之被供獻、來擔當許多人的罪。將來還要顯現個第二次、卻是與罪無關，是要向切候着他的人施拯救的。

這些是在月初的燔祭和跟燔祭同獻的素祭、不斷獻的燔祭和跟這燔祭同獻的素祭、以及照典章跟這些祭牲同獻的奠祭以外獻上、作為怡神之香氣、做火祭獻與永恆主的。
