Then an Israelite man brought into the camp a Midianite woman right before the eyes of Moses and the whole assembly of Israel while they were weeping at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

Then an Israelite man brought into the camp a Midianite woman. He did it right in front of the eyes of Moses and the whole community of Israel. They were weeping at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

And behold, one of the people of Israel came and brought a Midianite woman to his family, in the sight of Moses and in the sight of the whole congregation of the people of Israel, while they were weeping in the entrance of the tent of meeting.

Just then one of the Israelite men brought a Midianite woman into his tent, right before the eyes of Moses and all the people, as everyone was weeping at the entrance of the Tabernacle.

An Israelite man came bringing a Midianite woman to his relatives in the sight of Moses and the whole Israelite community while they were weeping at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

Then behold, one of the sons of Israel came and brought to his relatives a Midianite woman, in the sight of Moses and in the sight of the whole congregation of the sons of Israel, while they were weeping at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

And indeed, one of the children of Israel came and presented to his brethren a Midianite woman in the sight of Moses and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.

And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, while they were weeping at the door of the tent of meeting.

An Israelite man came bringing a Midianite woman to his relatives in the sight of Moses and the whole Israelite community while they were weeping at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who[ were] weeping[ before] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Just then one of the Israelites came and brought to his brothers a Midianite woman in the plain view of Moses and of the whole community of the Israelites, while they were weeping at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

Behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought to his brothers a Midianite woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, while they were weeping at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

供役於耶和華之祭司、其哭於廊與壇之間、曰、耶和華歟、矜恤爾民、勿使爾業受辱、為列邦所轄、奚使諸國之人曰、彼之上帝安在乎、○

告米甸長老曰、此眾將吞我四方、如牛嚙田野之草、時、西撥子巴勒為摩押王、

諭之曰、巡耶路撒冷城、凡緣邑中所行可惡之事、欷歔哭泣者、則印誌於其顙、我又聞彼諭其餘者曰、爾曹踵其後、巡邑擊殺、爾目勿顧惜之、勿加矜憫、老者少者、處子孩提婦女、盡行殺戮、惟有印誌者勿近之、自我聖所為始、遂自室前之老者始焉、

當擊米甸人、為以色列族報仇、後歸乃祖、

是日也、萬軍之主耶和華、詔人哭泣哀號、薙髮束麻、

耶和華之使者向以色列眾言此、民遂大聲號哭、

為海之狂波、沫噴其辱、為流蕩之星、而幽暗冥冥、永留以待、

以斯拉離上帝室、詣以利亞實子約哈難室、既入、緣俘囚之罪而憂、不食不飲、諭令猶大耶路撒冷俘囚之眾、咸集於耶路撒冷、凡不從牧伯長老之議、三日內不至者、必籍其所有、絕於俘囚之會、三日內九月二十日、猶大與便雅憫人、咸集於耶路撒冷、坐於上帝室前之場、緣此事及霪雨、莫不戰慄、

故甘霖不降、春雨不零、惟爾具有淫婦之顏、不知羞愧、

與米甸女同戮之以色列人、乃西緬族長、撒路子心利、被誅之女、乃米甸族長蘇珥之女哥斯比、○

聞此詛言、猶中心自慰曰、我雖剛愎自用、渴時痛飲、亦可獲安、若此者、耶和華必不赦宥、其怒與忌、如烟之出、必攻斯人、以書所載之詛、加乎其身、塗其名於天下、在以色列諸支派中、耶和華必區別之、循律書所載約中之詛言、加以禍害、

斯事既畢、諸牧伯就我曰、以色列眾、及祭司利未人、未與斯土之民絕交、效迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亞捫人、摩押人、埃及人、亞摩利人、行其可憎之事、娶其女為妻為媳、致使聖民與諸族相雜、牧伯民長為其首惡、我聞此事、裂衣袍、拔鬚髮、愕然而坐、凡懍遵以色列上帝之言者、緣俘囚之咎、咸集就我、我愕然而坐、至獻夕祭時、

如其故犯、乃褻瀆耶和華、不論宗族賓旅、必絕於民中、既藐視耶和華之言、干犯其命、則必見絕、厥罪歸之、○

猶大之遺民歟、今聽耶和華言、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝曰、如爾定厥趨向、入埃及而居之、則爾所懼之鋒刃、必追及爾於埃及地、所畏之饑饉、亦必迫從爾於埃及、爾必死於彼、凡定趨向、往埃及而居者、必亡於鋒刃、饑饉疫癘、不遺一人、脫於我所降之災、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝曰、昔我傾怒洩忿於耶路撒冷居民、爾入埃及時、我亦必如是傾怒於爾、致爾成為可憎可駭、可詛可辱、不得復睹斯土、

以色列人虜其婦孺、奪其牛羊、及其貨財、所居之城邑、暨營壘、燬之以火、貨財人物、刦之以歸、以所虜之人與財物、攜至摩押平原、約但河濱、耶利哥相對之營壘、詣摩西及祭司以利亞撒、與以色列會眾、○摩西及祭司以利亞撒、暨諸會長、出營以迓、摩西見自陳而歸之軍長、千夫長、百夫長、怒之曰、爾生存眾婦乎、彼從巴蘭之謀、使以色列族因奉毘珥、干罪於耶和華、致疫行於耶和華之會、

其受非義、乃非義之值也、彼以白晝宴樂為快、乃玷乃垢、與爾同餐時、則於愛筵而宴樂也、其目充淫色、不已於罪、煽惑不堅之人、心習貪婪、是為受詛之子、棄正道而迷罔、從比珥子巴蘭之道、即愛不義之值者也、

於是加利亞子約哈難、與諸軍長、及庶民、咸不從耶和華之言、居猶大地、加利亞子約哈難、及諸軍長、遂攜猶大遺民、即自逐至之國、返而寄居猶大地者、男女幼稚王女、及侍衛長尼布撒拉旦、所付於沙番孫亞希甘子基大利之眾、與先知耶利米、尼利亞子巴錄、入埃及地、至答比匿、不從耶和華言、○

猶底誦竟三四篇、王以書刀割之、投諸爐火、迨卷盡焚、

爾託耶和華名諭我之言、我不聽從、我必成我口所言、焚香灌奠於天后、循我及我祖、我王、我牧伯、在猶大諸邑、及耶路撒冷街衢所為、蓋其時我儕足食晏安、不遘災禍、

彼行可惡之事、豈知恥乎、非也、毫不知恥、亦不赧顏、故必仆於仆者之中、我譴責之際、彼必顚躓、耶和華言之矣、
