He and his sons after him will have a covenant to be priests forever. That is because he was committed to making sure that I, his God, was honored. In that way he paid for the sin of the Israelites.”

祭司利未人、亦不乏人於我前獻火焚祭、獻素祭、日獻恆祭、

大衛問基遍人曰、我為爾當何為、我當何為、方贖此罪、使爾為主之子民祝福、或作以致爾可使主之子民獲福

耶穌愛我儕、以其血滌除我罪、以其血滌除我罪有原文抄本作以其血贖我罪使我儕為王、為祭司、在其父天主前、願榮光權能歸之、至於世世、阿們、

曰、我為主萬有之天主熱中、以色列人背主之約、毀主之祭臺、以刃殺主之先知、獨我一人存留、亦欲傷我命、

昔民受律法、即在利未子孫得祭司職之時、若賴此祭司之職、能得成全、何用別設一祭司、循麥基洗德之等次、而不循亞倫之等次乎、又作人若賴利未子孫所得祭司之職能得成全何須別設一祭司循麥基洗德之等次而非循亞倫之等次乎民所受之律法與此祭司之職實有關係

曰、我為主萬有萬有原文作萬軍下同之天主熱中、以色列人背主之約、毀主之祭臺、以刃殺主之先知、獨我一人存留、亦欲傷我命、

蓋天主云、原文作蓋其證云爾永為祭司、循麥基洗德之等次、前之法度、輕弱無益、故廢之、

故當凡事同於兄弟、得於天主之事、為矜恤忠信之大祭司、以贖民罪、

摩西告亞倫曰、爾取香爐、以祭臺之火盛其中、置香於火上、速往會眾間為之贖罪、因主怒甚、疫癘已降、

亦如活石、被建為神室、又為聖潔之祭司、賴耶穌基督獻天主所悅納之神祭、

明日、摩西告民曰、爾獲大罪、我今登山覲主、或可使爾之罪得赦、

以大帶束亞倫與其諸子、以冠冠之、爾如是為亞倫與其諸子行立祭司禮、則彼得祭司之職、永定為例、

我心焦急、如火之焚、因我敵人忘乎主言、

彼為我儕之罪為贖罪祭、不但為我儕之罪、亦為舉世之罪焉、

爾曹必稱為主之祭司、人稱爾為奉事我天主者、必享異邦人之貨財、異邦人之榮、榮或作富有必為爾所得、

所羅門遂逐亞比亞他、不容其為主之祭司、於是主在示羅、論以利家所言者應矣、○

門徒憶經所載云、我為爾室中心焦急、有如火焚、

我為彼作證、彼熱中事天主、但不由知識也、蓋彼不識天主之義、而欲立己之義、故未服天主之義、有基督、律法乃終、使凡信者得稱義、

我為主之聖殿、中心焦急、有如火焚、人毀謗主、其謗言悉歸我身、
