The people rise like a lioness; they rouse themselves like a lion that does not rest till it devours its prey and drinks the blood of its victims.”

The Israelites are going to wake up like a female lion. They are going to get up like a male lion. They are like a lion that won’t rest until it eats what it has caught. They are like a lion that won’t rest until it drinks the blood of what it has killed.”

Behold, a people! As a lioness it rises up and as a lion it lifts itself; it does not lie down until it has devoured the prey and drunk the blood of the slain.”

These people rise up like a lioness, like a majestic lion rousing itself. They refuse to rest until they have feasted on prey, drinking the blood of the slaughtered!”

我儿犹大是头小狮子，他猎食回来，躺卧如雄狮，蹲伏如母狮，谁敢惊扰他？

“便雅悯是匹贪婪的狼，早晨吞吃猎物，晚上瓜分战利品。”

摩西祝福迦得支派说：“扩张迦得疆界的那位当受称颂！迦得蹲伏如狮子，撕碎头颅和臂膀。

在以上列王统治的时候，天上的上帝必设立一国——永不灭亡、外族无法夺其政权。这国将击垮、消灭列国，并且永远长存。

耶和华又对我说：“猛狮守护猎物，发出咆哮。即使众多牧人一起攻击它，它也不会因他们的呐喊而惧怕，不会因他们的叫嚷而畏缩。同样，万军之耶和华必降临在锡安山上争战。

在各国各民中，雅各余剩的子孙犹如林间百兽中的狮子，又像闯入羊群的猛狮，将猎物扑倒撕碎，无人能搭救。愿你们伸手战胜仇敌！愿你们的仇敌都被铲除！

有一位长老对我说：“不要哭。你看，犹大支派的狮子、大卫的根已经得胜了！祂能揭开那七个封印，打开那卷书。”

如今那狮子的洞穴，那喂养壮狮的地方在哪里呢？从前，雄狮、母狮和幼狮曾在那里出入，无人惊扰。

上帝把他们带出埃及，祂的力量如野牛之角。他们要吞灭敌国，打碎敌人的骨头，用利箭射穿仇敌。他们蹲伏如雄狮，躺卧如母狮，谁敢招惹？祝福他们的人有福了！咒诅他们的人有祸了！”

“到那天，我必使犹大的族长像木柴中的火盆，像禾捆中的火把，吞噬左右四围的列邦，但耶路撒冷人必仍在原处——耶路撒冷安居。

房角石、帐篷的橛子、战弓，以及所有掌权者必出自犹大。他们必像战场上的勇士，将仇敌践踏在街上的泥土中。他们必争战，因为耶和华与他们同在。他们必使敌方的骑兵蒙羞。

我所见的尚未发生，我目睹的关乎将来。一颗星要从雅各家升起，一位君王要从以色列兴起。他要打烂摩押的前额，击碎舍特人的头颅。

威震百兽、从不畏缩的狮子，

狮子吼叫，谁不惧怕呢？主耶和华已发言，谁能不传讲呢？

我看见天开了，有一匹白马出来，马上的骑士名叫“诚信真实”，祂凭公义审判、作战。祂的双目如火焰，头上戴了许多冠冕，写着一个只有祂自己才明白的名字。祂穿着被鲜血浸透的衣服，祂的名字是“上帝的道”。众天军穿着洁白的细麻衣，骑着白马跟随祂。祂口中吐出一把利剑，可以攻击列国。祂必用铁杖统治他们，踩踏盛满全能上帝之烈怒的榨酒池。祂的衣服和大腿上都写着祂的名号：“万王之王，万主之主。”我又看见一位天使站在太阳里，对空中飞翔的鸟大声呼唤：“来吧！一起来参加上帝的盛宴，一同享用君王、将军、勇士、马匹、骑士、自由人、奴隶和尊卑老少的肉吧！”我看见那怪兽、地上的众王及其军队聚集起来，要与白马骑士和祂的军队作战。后来，怪兽被俘虏了，在怪兽面前行奇迹的假先知也一同被擒了。这假先知曾用奇迹欺骗那些盖了兽印、敬拜兽像的人。他和怪兽一同被活活地扔进硫磺火湖里。怪兽的残兵纷纷被白马骑士口中的利剑所杀，飞鸟饱餐了他们的肉。

他们像急于撕碎猎物的饿狮，又像蹲伏在暗处的猛狮。
