斯民強甚、我非其敵、請汝至此、為我詛之、庶我擊之獲勝、驅之出境、蓋我素知爾所祝者、則必受祝、爾所詛者、則必受詛、

此民強悍、我非其敵、汝來詛之、使我得攻擊而獲勝、驅之出境、蓋我素知爾、祝人則人受福、詛人則人被禍。

其民較我強盛、請爾來為我詛之、或可攻而勝之、逐之出境、因我素知爾為誰祝福、誰則得福、爾咒詛誰、誰則受禍、

Now come and put a curse on these people, because they are too powerful for me. Perhaps then I will be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land. For I know that whoever you bless is blessed, and whoever you curse is cursed.”

So come and put a curse on these people. They are too powerful for me. Maybe I’ll be able to win the battle over them. Maybe I’ll be able to drive them out of the land. I know that whoever you bless is blessed. And I know that whoever you cursed is cursed.”

Come now, curse this people for me, since they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall be able to defeat them and drive them from the land, for I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.”

Please come and curse these people for me because they are too powerful for me. Then perhaps I will be able to conquer them and drive them from the land. I know that blessings fall on any people you bless, and curses fall on people you curse.”

Please come and put a curse on these people for me because they are more powerful than I am. I may be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land, for I know that those you bless are blessed and those you curse are cursed.”

Now, therefore, please come, curse this people for me since they are too mighty for me; perhaps I will be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land. For I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.”

Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land; for I know that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.

他蹲如公狮，卧如母狮，谁敢惹他？凡给你祝福的，愿他蒙福；凡咒诅你的，愿他受咒诅。’”

巴兰便题起诗歌说：“巴勒引我出亚兰，摩押王引我出东山，说：‘来啊，为我咒诅雅各；来啊，怒骂以色列。’神没有咒诅的，我焉能咒诅？耶和华没有怒骂的，我焉能怒骂？

为你祝福的，我必赐福与他；那咒诅你的，我必咒诅他。地上的万族都要因你得福。”

后来，我们往那祷告的地方去。有一个使女迎着面来，她被巫鬼所附，用法术，叫她主人们大得财利。

他爱咒骂，咒骂就临到他；他不喜爱福乐，福乐就与他远离！他拿咒骂当衣服穿上；这咒骂就如水进他里面，像油入他的骨头。

有一个人，名叫西门，向来在那城里行邪术，妄自尊大，使撒玛利亚的百姓惊奇；无论大小都听从他，说：“这人就是那称为神的大能者。”

神对巴兰说：“你不可同他们去，也不可咒诅那民，因为那民是蒙福的。”

因为你们出埃及的时候，他们没有拿食物和水在路上迎接你们，又因他们雇了美索不达米亚的毗夺人比珥的儿子巴兰来咒诅你们。

那时，摩押王西拨的儿子巴勒起来攻击以色列人，打发人召了比珥的儿子巴兰来咒诅你们。

非利士人对大卫说：“你拿杖到我这里来，我岂是狗呢？”非利士人就指着自己的神咒诅大卫。

那去召米该雅的使者对米该雅说：“众先知一口同音地都向王说吉言，你不如与他们说一样的话，也说吉言。”

站起来吧！用你从幼年劳神施行的符咒和你许多的邪术；或者可得益处，或者可得强胜。你筹划太多，以致疲倦。让那些观天象的，看星宿的，在月朔说预言的，都站起来，救你脱离所要临到你的事。

因为我必使你得极大的尊荣。你向我要什么，我就给你什么；只求你来为我咒诅这民。’”

这些人所见的是虚假，是谎诈的占卜。他们说是耶和华说的，其实耶和华并没有差遣他们，他们倒使人指望那话必然立定。

以色列王对约沙法说：“还有一个人，是音拉的儿子米该雅，我们可以托他求问耶和华。只是我恨他；因为他指着我所说的预言，不说吉语，单说凶言。”约沙法说：“王不必这样说。”

于是以色列王招聚先知，约有四百人，问他们说：“我上去攻取基列的拉末可以不可以？”他们说：“可以上去，因为主必将那城交在王的手里。”

愿多民侍奉你，多国跪拜你。愿你作你弟兄的主；你母亲的儿子向你跪拜。凡咒诅你的，愿他受咒诅；为你祝福的，愿他蒙福。”

因为他们没有拿食物和水来迎接以色列人，且雇了巴兰咒诅他们，但我们的神使那咒诅变为祝福。

任凭他们咒骂，惟愿你赐福；他们几时起来就必蒙羞，你的仆人却要欢喜。

麻雀往来，燕子翻飞；这样，无故的咒诅也必不临到。
