When Balak heard that Balaam was coming, he went out to meet him at the Moabite town on the Arnon border, at the edge of his territory.

他舉目觀看，忽然看見三個人在他對面站著；亞伯拉罕看見了，就從帳棚門口跑去迎接他們，俯伏在地，

那時，我們從約旦河東亞摩利人的兩個王手裡，把從亞嫩谷直到黑門山的地奪了過來，（

約瑟預備了車，上去歌珊迎接他的父親以色列。約瑟一看見他，就伏在他的頸項上，在他的頸項上哭了很久。

亞伯蘭擊敗了基大老瑪和與他聯盟的王回來的時候，所多瑪王出來，在沙微谷迎接他。沙微谷就是帝王谷。

摩押蒙受羞辱，因為它已被毀滅了。你們要哀號喊叫，要在亞嫩河宣告：‘摩押毀滅了。’

弟兄們聽到了我們的消息，就從羅馬出來，在亞比烏和三館迎接我們。保羅見了他們，就感謝神，膽子也壯了起來。
