The angel of the Lord said to Balaam,“ Go with the men. But say only what I tell you to say.” So Balaam went with Balak’s officials.

耶和华的使者对巴兰说：“你同这些人去吧！你只要说我对你说的话。”于是巴兰同着巴勒的使臣去了。

永恆主的使者對巴蘭說：『你同這些人去吧；不過我所吩咐你說的話、你只要那樣說就好啦。』於是巴蘭和巴勒的首領一同去。

曰、姑與其人偕往、惟我所諭、爾必言之、於是巴蘭與巴勒使臣偕往、

主之使者語巴蘭曰、爾姑與斯人偕往、惟我所諭爾之言、爾方可言、於是巴蘭與巴勒使臣偕往、

But the angel of the Lord said to Balaam,“ Go with the men, but you shall speak only the word that I tell you.” So Balaam went along with the representatives of Balak.

Then the Angel of the Lord said to Balaam,“ Go with the men, but only the word that I speak to you, that you shall speak.” So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

And the angel of Jehovah said unto Balaam, Go with the men; but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

“‘ “But I, the Lord, say,‘ Haven’t you heard what I have done? Long ago I arranged for you to do this. In days of old I planned it. Now I have made it happen. You have turned cities with high walls into piles of stone.Their people do not have any power left. They are troubled and put to shame. They are like plants in the field. They are like new green plants. They are like grass that grows on a roof. It dries up before it is completely grown.“ ‘ “ ‘But I know where you are. I know when you come and go. I know how very angry you are with me.You roar against me and brag. And I have heard your bragging. So I will put my hook in your nose. I will put my bit in your mouth. And I will make you go home by the same way you came.’ ” ’ ”

So I let them go their own stubborn way. I let them follow their own sinful plans.

The coming of the man of sin will fit how Satan works. The man of sin will show his power through all kinds of signs and wonders. These signs and wonders will lead people astray.So people who are dying will be fooled by this evil. These people are dying because they refuse to love the truth. The truth would save them.So God will fool them completely. Then they will believe the lie.Many will not believe the truth. They will take pleasure in evil. They will be judged.

That night God came to Balaam. He said,“ These men have come to get you. So go with them. But do only what I tell you to do.”Balaam got up in the morning. He put a saddle on his donkey. Then he went with the Moabite officials.
