Then the angel of the LORD said to Balaam,“ Go with the men, but you are to say only what I tell you.” So Balaam went with Balak’s officials.

耶和华的使者对巴兰说：“你同这些人去吧！你只要说我对你说的话。”于是巴兰同着巴勒的使臣去了。

And the angel of Jehovah said unto Balaam, Go with the men; but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

Have you not heard? I designed it long ago; I planned it in days gone by. I have now brought it to pass, and you have crushed fortified cities into piles of rubble.Their inhabitants have become powerless, dismayed, and ashamed. They are plants of the field, tender grass, grass on the rooftops, blasted by the east wind.But I know your sitting down, your going out and your coming in, and your raging against me.Because your raging against me and your arrogance have reached my ears, I will put my hook in your nose and my bit in your mouth; I will make you go back the way you came.

So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own plans.

The coming of the lawless one is based on Satan’s working, with every kind of miracle, both signs and wonders serving the lie,and with every wicked deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth and so be saved.For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe the lie,so that all will be condemned— those who did not believe the truth but delighted in unrighteousness.

God came to Balaam at night and said to him,“ Since these men have come to summon you, get up and go with them, but you must only do what I tell you.”When he got up in the morning, Balaam saddled his donkey and went with the officials of Moab.
