神開了夏甲的眼睛，她就看見一口水井。她去把皮袋盛滿了水，就給孩子喝。

但他們的眼睛卻給蒙蔽了，認不出他來。

他們的眼睛開了，才認出是耶穌來；他卻從他們面前不見了。

耶和華啊！求你使他們驚懼，願列國都知道自己不過是人。（細拉）

得聽神的話語、得見全能者的異象、身體仆倒而眼目睜開的人說：

開他們的眼睛，使他們從黑暗中歸向光明，從撒但的權下歸向神，使他們的罪惡得到赦免，並且在那些因信我而成聖的人中同得基業。’

大衛舉目看見耶和華的使者站在天地之間，手裡拿著出了鞘的刀，指向耶路撒冷。大衛和眾長老都穿上麻布，臉伏於地。

那得聽神的話語、明白至高者的知識、得見全能者的異象、身體仆倒而眼目睜開的人說：

摩西急忙俯首在地敬拜，

耶穌一說“我就是”，他們就往後退，倒在地上。

以利沙禱告，說：“耶和華啊！請你打開他的眼睛，使他能看見。”於是耶和華打開了僕人的眼睛，他就看見；看哪！那山上布滿了火馬火車，圍繞著以利沙。亞蘭人下來攻擊以利沙，以利沙就禱告耶和華，說：“求你擊打這民族，使他們瞎眼。”於是耶和華擊打他們，使他們瞎眼，正如以利沙所說的。以利沙對他們說：“這不是那條路，這邊不是那座城；你們跟著我來，我要把你們領到你們要尋找的人那裡。”於是他把他們領到撒瑪利亞。他們進入撒瑪利亞的時候，以利沙就說：“耶和華啊！求你開這些人的眼睛，使他們能看見。”於是耶和華開了他們的眼睛，他們就看見了。看哪！他們竟是在撒瑪利亞城中。
