是夜天主臨巴蘭諭之曰、若其人來招爾、爾可起、與之偕往、然我所諭爾、爾必遵行、

当夜，神临到巴兰那里，说：“这些人若来召你，你就起来同他们去，你只要遵行我对你所说的话。”

上帝在夜里临到巴兰那里，说：“这些人若来求你，你就起来跟他们去吧，只是你必须照着我对你说的话去做。”

当夜，上帝来对巴兰说：“这些人既然来请你，你就跟他们去吧，但你只可照我说的做。”

是夜上帝臨格、諭巴蘭曰、如其人來招、姑與偕往、然我所諭、汝必遵循、

That night God came to Balaam and said,“ Since these men have come to summon you, go with them, but do only what I tell you.”

That night God came to Balaam. He said,“ These men have come to get you. So go with them. But do only what I tell you to do.”

And God came to Balaam at night and said to him,“ If the men have come to call you, rise, go with them; but only do what I tell you.”

That night God came to Balaam and told him,“ Since these men have come for you, get up and go with them. But do only what I tell you to do.”

God came to Balaam at night and said to him,“ Since these men have come to summon you, get up and go with them, but you must only do what I tell you.”

And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men are come to call thee, rise up, go with them; but only the word which I speak unto thee, that shalt thou do.

巴勒即以盈室之金銀賜我、我亦不敢踰越主命、擅行或善或惡、惟主所諭我、我斯言之、

巴蘭答曰、凡主所諭我必遵行、其言我豈未告爾乎、

對曰、主授於我口之言、我豈能不謹述之乎、

主之使者語巴蘭曰、爾姑與斯人偕往、惟我所諭爾之言、爾方可言、於是巴蘭與巴勒使臣偕往、

列國設謀、為主所敗、異邦定計、為主所破、惟主之謀猷、永立不廢、主之心意、世代長存、

彼惡者至、藉撒但之力、行一切虛偽之大能異跡奇事、及種種惑眾之邪惡、在將沈淪者之中、蓋彼眾不悅真理、且不受之而得救、故天主使其大謬、信從虛偽、使凡不信真理反悅不義者、悉被定罪、○

因爾之怒號向我、又聞爾驕傲之聲、故必穿環於爾鼻、置勒於爾口、使爾由來道而返、

彼適縱欲、肉食尚在其口、天主震怒即臨及其身、誅殺其間雄健之人、翦滅以色列族之壯丁、

我怒以王賜爾、我怒以王廢之、

我即任其心中剛愎、聽其隨意而行、

曰、爾年已邁、爾子不行爾道、請為我立王以治理我、無異他國、眾既言為我立王以治理我、撒母耳不悅、撒母耳遂禱告主、主諭撒母耳曰、民向爾所言、爾惟從之、彼非棄爾、乃棄我、不欲我為其王、斯民自我導之出伊及、至於今日、恆棄我、服事他神、彼之待爾亦若是、今可從其言、第當加以警誡、告以治之之王、將如何以待之、

爾見亞捫王拿轄來攻爾、爾則向我曰、必當有王治理我、不知惟主爾之天主為爾之王、主已為爾立王、爾所求所選之王在此、如爾敬畏主、奉事主、聽主之言、不違主之命、則爾與治爾之王、必蒙主爾天主之引導、如爾不聽主之言、違主之命、則主必降災於爾、如昔降災於爾列祖然、今爾立於此、觀主於爾目前將行大事、今非麥秋乎、我呼籲主、主必使雷震雨降、令爾知、今爾見、爾之求王、實為大惡於主前、撒母耳遂呼籲主、是日主使雷震雨降、眾民甚畏主、亦懼撒母耳、眾民謂撒母耳曰、求爾為僕眾祈禱主爾之天主、免我死亡、我之求王、實於我諸罪上加罪、

主以言授於巴蘭口、諭之曰、爾返見巴勒、當如是言、

天主臨格巴蘭、以言授於其口、諭之曰、爾返見巴勒、以此言告之、

主有言諭我曰、人子、斯人心念其偶像、以陷己於罪之物、置於目前、彼又求問我、我豈應之乎、故爾當告之曰、主天主如是云、凡以色列族之人、心念其偶像、以陷已於罪之物、置於目前、如來就先知、我耶和華必因其拜多偶像之罪譴責之、必因其拜多偶像之罪譴責之原文作必循其眾多之偶像而應之欲露露或作闡明以色列族之心意、原文作欲執以色列族於心中因彼俱離棄我、崇拜偶像、
