上帝曰、爾勿偕往、亦勿詛民、蓋斯民受祝矣、

神对巴兰说：“你不可同他们去，也不可咒诅那民，因为那民是蒙福的。”

上帝曰、爾毋與之偕往、爾毋為之詛民、蓋斯民嘗受福矣。

天主諭巴蘭曰、毋偕之往、毋詛斯民、因斯民已蒙福矣、

But God said to Balaam,“ Do not go with them. You must not put a curse on those people, because they are blessed.”

我將使爾成為大邦、錫嘏於爾、丕顯爾名、爾為福源、

祝頌上帝我主耶穌基督之父、曾由基督祝我以在天屬神之諸福、

我民歟、爾其憶摩押王巴勒所謀、及比珥子巴蘭所以應之、且憶自什亭至吉甲、所遇之事、俾爾知耶和華公義之行為、○

惟爾上帝耶和華愛爾、不聽巴蘭、變詛為祝、

民際斯況、其有福矣、以耶和華為上帝、斯民其有福兮、

巴蘭謂巴勒曰、汝立於燔祭側、我且前往、庶幾耶和華臨我、其所示者、我必告爾、遂陟童山、

又如大衛謂上帝於行之外而義之者為有福、曰、其過得宥、其罪得掩者、福矣、

上帝非人、致誑於言、亦非人子、致回厥意、既有言、詎不行之、既出辭、詎不踐之、我受命以祝嘏、上帝祝之、我難反之、

巴勒曰、請偕我之他、而瞻望之、勿觀其全營、只窺其一隅、為我詛之、乃導至瑣腓野毘斯迦山巔、爰築七壇、各獻牛一羊一、謂巴勒曰、汝立於燔祭側、我往於彼、以覲耶和華、

曰、耶和華云、爾既行是、不惜獨生之子、我則指己而誓、必錫爾嘏、昌熾爾裔、如天上之星、如海濱之沙、爾裔必據諸敵之邑、緣爾遵我命、天下萬民、將因爾裔而獲福、

方伯坐於堂、其妻使謂之曰、此義人、爾勿與也、以我今夜夢中、不勝為之哀傷焉、

無術數以害雅各家、無卜筮以攻以色列、於斯時也、人論雅各以色列云、上帝待之、何其奇歟、

蓋上帝之賜與召無悔也、

今夕爾姑宿此、俟耶和華更有所諭、是夜上帝臨格、諭巴蘭曰、如其人來招、姑與偕往、然我所諭、汝必遵循、

乃於人酣寢、偃臥在牀時、以夢與夜間之異象示之、啟人之耳、以堅厥訓、使人改其意志、遏其驕矜、

以色列歟、爾有福祉、何民若爾、為耶和華所拯、彼乃護爾之干、榮爾之刃、敵必屈伏於爾、爾將履其崇邱、

以雅各之上帝為助、以其上帝耶和華為望、斯人其有福兮、
