人民来见摩西，说：“我们有罪了，因为我们出恶言攻击耶和华和你；求你向耶和华祷告，叫这些蛇离开我们。”于是摩西为众人祷告。

百姓到摩西那里，说：“我们怨讟耶和华和你，有罪了。求你祷告耶和华，叫这些蛇离开我们。”于是摩西为百姓祷告。

The people came to Moses and said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The others came to Moses. They said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you. Pray to the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

Then the people came to Moses and cried out,“ We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take away the snakes.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The people then came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned by speaking against the LORD and against you. Intercede with the LORD so that he will take the snakes away from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

So the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and against you; intercede with the Lord, that He will remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against Jehovah, and against thee; pray unto Jehovah, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

法老把摩西和亚伦召了来，说：“请你们恳求耶和华，好叫他使青蛙离开我和我的人民，我就必让这人民离开这里，使他们可以向耶和华献祭。”

西门回答：“请你们为我求主，好让你们所说的，没有一样临到我身上。”

人民向摩西呼求，摩西恳求耶和华，火就熄了，

神击杀他们的时候，他们就寻求他；他们回转过来，切切求问神。

法老回答：“我必让你们离开这里，你们可以在旷野献祭给耶和华你们的神，只是你们不可走得太远；请你们为我祈祷。”

王对神人说：“求你为我向耶和华你的神求情，又为我祷告，使我的手复原。”于是神人向耶和华求情，王的手就复了原，像起先一样。

现在你们要为自己取七头公牛、七只公羊，到我的仆人约伯那里去，为你们献上燔祭，我的仆人约伯就替你们祷告；我悦纳他的祷告，就不按照你们的愚昧待你们。你们讲论我，不如我的仆人约伯说的对。”

我祈求耶和华，说：‘主耶和华啊，求你不要毁灭你的子民，你的产业，就是你藉着你的大能救赎，藉着你有力的手从埃及领出来的。求你记念你的仆人亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各；不要看这民族的顽固、邪恶和罪过，免得你领我们从那里出来的那地的人说：“耶和华因为不能把他们领进他应许的地，又因为恨他们，所以才把他们领出来，要在旷野杀死他们。”但是，他们是你的子民，是你的产业，又是你藉着大能和伸出来的膀臂领出来的。’”

“我有罪了！我出卖了无辜的人﹙“人”原文作“血”。﹚！”他们说：“这是你的事，跟我们有什么关系？”

所以他说要灭绝他们，不是有他拣选的摩西，在他面前站在破口上，使他的怒气转消，恐怕他早已毁灭他们了。

弟兄们，我心里切切盼望的，并且为以色列人向神祈求的，是要他们得救。

于是，法老把摩西和亚伦召了来，对他们说：“这一次我犯了罪了；耶和华是公义的，我和我的人民是有罪的。请你们祈求耶和华吧，因为这雷声和冰雹已经够了；我决意让你们离开，你们不可再留在这里。”

第二天，摩西对人民说：“你们犯了大罪，现在我要上耶和华那里去，或者我可以为你们赎罪。”

所以你们应当彼此认罪，互相代求，这样你们就可以痊愈。义人祈祷所发出的力量，是大有功效的。

摩西就恳求耶和华他的神施恩，说：“耶和华啊，你为什么向你的人民发烈怒呢？这人民是你用大能和全能的手从埃及地领出来的。

现在求主大发能力，照着你说过的话：‘耶和华不轻易发怒，且有丰盛的慈爱；他赦免罪孽和过犯；绝不以有罪的为无罪，必追讨罪孽，自父到子，直到三四代。’求你照着你的大慈爱，饶恕这人民的罪孽，好像你从埃及直到现在，常赦免这人民一样。”耶和华说：“我就照着你的话，赦免他们；

扫罗说：“我犯了罪了，但是求你在我人民的长老面前和以色列人面前给我面子，与我一同回去，我好敬拜耶和华你的神。”

于是扫罗对撒母耳说：“我犯了罪了，我违背了耶和华的命令和你的话，因为我害怕众人，听从了他们的话。

耶和华对我说：“即使摩西和撒母耳站在我面前代求，我的心也不会转向这人民。你把他们从我面前赶走，叫他们出去！

众民对撒母耳说：“求你为仆人向耶和华你的神祷告，免得我们死亡，因为我们为自己要求立王的事，是在我们的一切罪上又增加了这一件恶事。”撒母耳对人民说：“不要惧怕！虽然你们行了这一切恶事，只是不可偏离不跟随耶和华，总要一心事奉他。不可偏离耶和华，去追随那些空虚的偶像，因为它们本是空虚的，对人没有什么益处，也不能救人。耶和华为了自己的大名的缘故，必不丢弃他的子民，因为他喜欢使你们作他的子民。至于我，我决不停止为你们祷告，以致得罪耶和华；我要把善道正路教导你们。

约伯替他的朋友祷告，耶和华就恢复约伯原来的景况，还照约伯以前所有的一切加倍赐给他。

我要回到自己的地方去；直到他们承认自己的罪过，寻求我的面。在痛苦中必恳切寻求我。”

现在你要把那人的妻子还给他，因为他是先知，他要为你祷告，你才可以存活。你若不还给他，你当知道，你和所有属你的，都死定了。”

耶和华也向亚伦发怒，要消灭他；那时候我也为亚伦祈祷。

西底家王差派示利米雅的儿子犹甲和玛西雅祭司的儿子西番雅，去见耶利米先知，说：“请你为我们向耶和华我们的神祷告。”
