他作王第三年，差遣官員便‧亥伊勒、俄巴底、撒迦利雅、拿坦業、米該亞往猶大各城去教導百姓。跟他們一同去的有利未人示瑪雅、尼探雅、西巴第雅、亞撒黑、示米拉末、約拿單、亞多尼雅、多比雅、駝‧巴多尼雅；跟他們一同的又有以利沙瑪和約蘭二位祭司。他們在猶大教導，帶着耶和華的律法書，走遍猶大各城教導百姓。

在他們旁邊修造的是提哥亞人；但是他們的貴族不用肩扛他們主人的工作。

律法是藉着摩西頒佈的；恩典和真理卻是由耶穌基督來的。

摩西將律法傳給我們，作為雅各會眾的產業。

耶和華是審判我們的，耶和華為我們設立律法；耶和華是我們的君王，他必拯救我們。

從以耶‧亞巴琳起行，安營在底本‧迦得。從底本‧迦得起行，安營在亞門‧低比拉太音。從亞門‧低比拉太音起行，安營在尼波前面的亞巴琳山脈。

立法者和審判者只有一位；他就是那能拯救人也能毀滅人的。你是誰，竟敢評斷你的鄰舍！

那時，以利亞實大祭司和他的弟兄眾祭司起來建立羊門，將門分別為聖，安立門扇，直到哈米亞樓。他們又將它分別為聖，直到哈楠業樓。

至於那些今世富足的人，你要囑咐他們不要自高，也不要倚賴靠不住的錢財；要倚靠那厚賜萬物給我們享受的神。又要囑咐他們行善，在好事上富足，甘心施捨，樂意分享，
