所以栽種的和灌溉的都算不得什麼，一切都在於使之生長的上帝。

保羅對亞拿尼亞說：「你這偽君子，上帝要擊打你！你坐在那裡不是應當依法審問我嗎？你怎麼違法叫人打我？」站在旁邊的人說：「你竟敢辱罵上帝的大祭司？」保羅說：「弟兄們，我不知道他是大祭司。我知道聖經上說，『不可咒詛百姓的官長。』」

自從我認識你們以來，你們就不斷地背叛耶和華。

但天上的上帝能揭開奧秘，祂已把將來要發生的事告訴了王。王啊，你在床上夢見了將來的事，揭開奧秘的上帝已把將來的事指示給你。上帝將王做的夢啟示給我，並非因為我的智慧勝過其他人，而是要讓王知道夢的意思和王的心事。以下是王在床上做的夢和腦中出現的異象。

因此，我在基督耶穌裡以事奉上帝為榮。別的事我不敢提，只有一件是我津津樂道的，就是基督藉著我的言語行為，用神蹟奇事和聖靈的大能叫外族人順服，使我把基督的福音從耶路撒冷一路傳到了以利哩古。

因為我們在許多方面難免有過失。如果誰在言語上沒有過失，他就是純全的人，也能在各方面保持自制。

不要因生氣而犯罪，不要到日落時還怒氣未消，

彼得看見這情形，就對大家說：「以色列人啊，何必驚奇呢？為什麼一直盯著我們呢？你們以為我們是憑自己的能力和虔誠叫這人行走嗎？亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的上帝，就是我們祖先的上帝，已經使祂的僕人耶穌得了榮耀。你們把耶穌交給彼拉多，儘管彼拉多想釋放祂，你們卻在彼拉多面前棄絕祂！你們棄絕了那聖潔公義者，竟然要求彼拉多釋放一個兇手。你們殺了生命之主，上帝卻使祂從死裡復活了。我們都是這事的見證人。你們認識的這個乞丐因為相信耶穌的名，得到了醫治。你們都看見了，他能痊癒是因為他信耶穌。

約瑟回答說：「我自己不會解夢，但上帝卻能給王圓滿的解釋。」

他們回答說：「我們都做了夢，可是沒有人給我們解夢。」約瑟說：「解夢的能力不是來自上帝嗎？請你們把夢告訴我。」

就是把牛羊都宰了，把海裡的魚都捕來，恐怕也不夠他們吃！」耶和華說：「難道我的臂膀能力不夠嗎？你很快將看見我的話會不會應驗。」

但我告訴你們，凡無緣無故向弟兄發怒的，要受審判；凡罵弟兄是白癡的，要受公會的審判；凡罵弟兄是笨蛋的，難逃地獄的火。
