The man who gathers up the ashes of the heifer must also wash his clothes, and he too will be unclean till evening. This will be a lasting ordinance both for the Israelites and for the foreigners residing among them.

The man who gathers up the ashes of the young cow must wash his clothes. He too will be‘ unclean’ until evening. This law is for the Israelites. It is also for the outsiders living among them. The law will last for all time to come.

And the one who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening. And this shall be a perpetual statute for the people of Israel, and for the stranger who sojourns among them.

本地人和寄居在你们中间的外人当守同一个条例。”

那洁净的人要在第三天和第七天把水弹在不洁净的人身上，在第七天洁净那人。那人要洗衣服，用水洗澡，到晚上就洁净了。

至于会众，无论是你们或寄居的外人都要遵守同一条例；这是你们世世代代永远的定例。在耶和华面前，你们怎样，寄居的也要怎样。你们和寄居在你们那里的外人要遵守同一律法，同一典章。”

难道上帝只是犹太人的吗？不也是外邦人的吗？是的，他也是外邦人的上帝。既然上帝是一位，他就要本于信称那受割礼的为义，也要藉着信称那未受割礼的为义。

在这事上并不分希腊人和犹太人，受割礼的和未受割礼的，未开化的人、西古提人、为奴的、自主的；惟独基督是一切，又在一切之内。

祭司要洗衣服，用水洗身，然后才可以进营；祭司必不洁净到晚上。焚烧牛的人也要用水洗衣服，用水洗身，必不洁净到晚上。
