not one of those who saw my glory and the signs I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness but who disobeyed me and tested me ten times—

And here is what you can be just as sure of. Not one of these people will see the land I promised to give them. They have seen my glory. They have seen the signs I did in Egypt. And they have seen what I did in the desert. But they did not obey me. And they have tested me ten times.

not one of these people will ever enter that land. They have all seen my glorious presence and the miraculous signs I performed both in Egypt and in the wilderness, but again and again they have tested me by refusing to listen to my voice.

Certainly all the people who have seen My glory and My signs which I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have put Me to the test these ten times and have not listened to My voice,

These ten times have ye reproached me: Ye are not ashamed that ye deal hardly with me.

And with whom was he displeased forty years? was it not with them that sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that were disobedient?

And your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me.

Therefore he sware unto them, That he would overthrow them in the wilderness,

Wherefore the people strove with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why strive ye with me? Wherefore do ye tempt Jehovah?

Neither let us make trial of the Lord, as some of them made trial, and perished by the serpents.

Jesus said unto him, Again it is written, Thou shalt not make trial of the Lord thy God.

Howbeit with most of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

Where your fathers tried me by proving me, And saw my works forty years.

And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.

But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, And tempted God in the desert.

And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to bring us forth out of Egypt?

and in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that Jehovah thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came unto this place.Yet in this thing ye did not believe Jehovah your God,who went before you in the way, to seek you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to show you by what way ye should go, and in the cloud by day.And Jehovah heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware, saying,Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see the good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,

And Jehovah said unto Moses, How long will this people despise me? and how long will they not believe in me, for all the signs which I have wrought among them?

These twenty years have I been in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy flock: and thou hast changed my wages ten times.

And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are built up; yea, they tempt God, and escape.

When your fathers tempted me, Proved me, and saw my work.Forty years long was I grieved with that generation, And said, It is a people that do err in their heart, And they have not known my ways:Wherefore I sware in my wrath, That they should not enter into my rest.
