And Moses said to the Lord:“ Then the Egyptians will hear it, for by Your might You brought these people up from among them,

摩西对耶和华说：“这样埃及人必听见这事，因为你曾用大能，把这民从他们中间领上来；

摩西對耶和華說：「埃及人必聽見這事；因為你曾施展大能，將這百姓從他們中間領上來。

摩西對耶和華說：「埃及人必聽見，因你曾施展大能，領這百姓從他們中間出來。

摩西對耶和華說：「埃及人必聽見，因你曾施展大能，領這百姓從他們中間出來。

摩西對耶和華說：「你曾經用大能把以色列人從埃及領出來，埃及人聽說這事後，

摩西對耶和華說：“這樣埃及人必聽見這事，因為你曾用大能，把這民從他們中間領上來；

摩西對永恆主說：『這樣、埃及人一定會聽見，一定會對這地的居民說；因為你曾施展你的大能力將這人民從他們中間領上來；

摩西對耶和華曰、如是、埃及人必聞其事、蓋爾昔施大能、率斯民出其中、

摩西告耶和華曰、昔爾施大力、率以色列民、出於埃及、斯土之民、知爾居處以色列族、為民目擊、以雲蔽之、晝導以雲、夜燭以大其狀如柱、今欲盡滅斯眾、與戮匹夫無異、則埃及億兆、風聞其事、普告於斯土、斯土之民、嘗聞爾名者、必曰、

摩西對主曰、若如此、伊及人必聞之、因主曾施大力、導斯民出伊及、

Moses said to the Lord,“ Then the Egyptians will hear about it! By your power you brought these people up from among them.

Moses said to the Lord,“ Then the Egyptians will hear about it. You used your power to bring these people up from among them.

But Moses said to the Lord,“ Then the Egyptians will hear of it, for you brought up this people in your might from among them,

But Moses objected.“ What will the Egyptians think when they hear about it?” he asked the Lord.“ They know full well the power you displayed in rescuing your people from Egypt.

But Moses replied to the LORD,“ The Egyptians will hear about it, for by your strength you brought up this people from them.

But Moses said to the Lord,“ Then the Egyptians will hear of it, for by Your strength You brought this people up from their midst,

And Moses said unto Jehovah, Then the Egyptians will hear it; for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;

But Moses replied to the Lord,“ The Egyptians will hear about it, for by Your strength You brought up this people from them.

And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear[ it],( for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)

Moses said to the LORD,“ When the Egyptians hear it– for you brought up this people by your power from among them–

Moses said to Yahweh,“ Then the Egyptians will hear it; for you brought up this people in your might from among them.

Therefore He said that He would destroy them, Had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach, To turn away His wrath, lest He destroy them.

But I acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned before the Gentiles among whom they were, in whose sight I had made Myself known to them, to bring them out of the land of Egypt.

Had I not feared the wrath of the enemy, Lest their adversaries should misunderstand, Lest they should say,“ Our hand is high; And it is not the Lord who has done all this.”’

But I acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned before the Gentiles, in whose sight I had brought them out.

Then Moses pleaded with the Lord his God, and said:“ Lord, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?Why should the Egyptians speak, and say,‘ He brought them out to harm them, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth’? Turn from Your fierce wrath, and relent from this harm to Your people.Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your own self, and said to them,‘ I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven; and all this land that I have spoken of I give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.’”So the Lord relented from the harm which He said He would do to His people.

Therefore I prayed to the Lord, and said:‘ O Lord GOD, do not destroy Your people and Your inheritance whom You have redeemed through Your greatness, whom You have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.Remember Your servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; do not look on the stubbornness of this people, or on their wickedness or their sin,lest the land from which You brought us should say,“ Because the Lord was not able to bring them to the land which He promised them, and because He hated them, He has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness.”

O Lord, what shall I say when Israel turns its back before its enemies?For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear it, and surround us, and cut off our name from the earth. Then what will You do for Your great name?”
