“只有祭司一家可以吃圣物，在祭司家中寄居的或做雇工的都不可吃，但出生在祭司家里或用钱买来的奴隶都可以吃。如果祭司的女儿嫁给本族以外的人，她便不可再吃举祭。如果祭司的女儿守寡或被休，无儿无女，又像年轻时回到父亲家居住，便可以吃父亲的食物。除此以外，不属于祭司家的人都不可以吃。

然后，圣幕被拆下，革顺和米拉利的子孙抬着圣幕出发。随后出发的是吕便旗下的营队，率领吕便支派的是示丢珥的儿子以利苏，率领西缅支派的是苏利沙代的儿子示路蔑，率领迦得支派的是丢珥的儿子以利雅萨。随后出发的是哥辖人，他们抬着圣物前行。在他们到达之前，圣幕应已支好。

让以色列人引以为戒，使亚伦子孙以外的人不致到耶和华面前烧香，以免像可拉及其同伙一样灭亡。这是按照耶和华借摩西的吩咐做的。
