“ You came down on Mount Sinai; you spoke to them from heaven. You gave them regulations and laws that are just and right, and decrees and commands that are good.

“ You came down on Mount Sinai. From heaven you spoke to our people. You gave them rules and laws. Those laws are right and fair. You gave them orders and commands that are good.

You came down on Mount Sinai and spoke with them from heaven and gave them right rules and true laws, good statutes and commandments,

“ You came down at Mount Sinai and spoke to them from heaven. You gave them regulations and instructions that were just, and decrees and commands that were good.

上帝垂諭曰、

以為三日之備、蓋至三日、耶和華必降臨西乃山、為眾民目擊、

我愛爾誡命愈於金、愈於精金兮、凡爾訓詞、我視為善、惡諸邪途兮、○

以上諸言、耶和華在山上、由火雲幽暗中、大聲諭爾會眾、此外無復增益、書之二石版、以授於我、當時火焚於山、聲出晦冥、爾既聞之、爾之族長長老、進於我前、曰、我上帝耶和華顯其大榮大威、俾我目睹、我聞其聲、由火中出、今日乃知上帝與人言、而人猶得生存、今我胡為致死、此大火將滅我、如我再聞我上帝耶和華之聲、則必隕沒、凡有血氣者、誰如我聞維生上帝出自火中之聲、而猶生存者乎、

爾道之綱乃誠、爾公義之律例永存兮、○

昔爾在何烈、立於爾上帝耶和華前時、耶和華諭我曰、當集斯民、我使之聽我言、俾其在世、一生學寅畏我、而教子女、爾遂來前、立於山下、火焚於山、其焰冲天、陰雲密布、幽暗晦冥、耶和華由火中諭爾、爾聞其聲、不見其象、彼以爾所當守之約示爾、十誡是也、並書之二石版、

若我行所不願者、則許律為善矣、

耶和華之律純全、蘇人魂兮、耶和華之法真實、化愚為智兮、耶和華之訓正直、悅人心兮、耶和華之誡純潔、豁人目兮、耶和華之道清潔、而永存兮、耶和華之例真誠、而盡義兮、可慕愈於金、精金之繁多兮、其甘愈於蜜、蜂房之滴瀝兮、爾僕因之受警、守此可得大賚兮、

以色列人歟、爾上帝耶和華何求於爾、第寅畏之、遵行其道、一心一意、愛之事之、守耶和華之誡命典章、我今日所諭爾者、俾爾獲益、

夫爾非至可捫火炎之山、及幽冥、昏暗、暴風、號角之音、宣言之聲、聞者求勿復與言、蓋眾不克當所命云、傍山者雖獸必石擊之、且所見者可畏之甚、致摩西云、我悚懼戰慄、爾所至者乃錫安山維生上帝邑、在天之耶路撒冷天軍萬數、諸長子會咸集、即名錄於天者、暨鞫眾之上帝、並義人得完全之靈、且有新約中保耶穌、與所灑之血、此血所言、較亞伯為尤善、語爾者慎勿拒之、蓋拒在地之傳命者、尚不得逭、況違夫自天者乎、當時其聲震地、但今則告之曰、尚有其一、我不第震地、亦必震天、

三日黎明、雷電交作、密雲蔽山、角鳴甚厲、營中之民、罔不戰慄、摩西率民出營、以迓上帝、民立山下、耶和華於火中降臨西乃山、徧山有烟、其烟上騰、有若爐烟、全山大震、角鳴愈久、其聲愈厲、摩西發言、上帝以聲應之、耶和華臨涖西乃山巔、召摩西陟之、摩西陟焉、

曾有國民、聞上帝出自火中之言、如爾所聞、而猶生存者乎、

昔爾行可畏之事、出我意外、其時臨格自天、山嶽震動於爾前、

以我典章賜之、以我律例教之、人若遵行、則緣之得生、亦以我安息日賜之、在我與彼之間為徵、俾知我耶和華使之成聖、惟以色列家在曠野、悖逆乎我、不循我典章、棄我律例、人若遵行、則緣之得生、且犯我安息日特甚、我則曰、必在曠野、傾我怒以滅之、

耶和華諭摩西曰、告以色列人云、我自天與爾言、爾所睹也、

上帝自提幔來、聖者自巴蘭山至、其榮蔽諸天、讚美徧大地、

有何大國、典章律例、如是公平、若我今日所宣於爾者乎、○

耶和華在山上、由火中與爾晤對而言、

耶和華歟、爾乃公義、爾讞亦正直兮、

曰、耶和華至自西乃、起自西珥、著自巴蘭、來自萬聖、法律出其右手、勢如烈火、

願爾闢天而臨格、使山震動於爾前、

如是、律聖、誡亦聖、且義且善也、然則善其死我乎、非也、但罪因善而死我、以顯其為罪、俾罪因誡而致其極耳、夫我儕知律屬神、我屬形軀、自鬻於罪、
