You sent signs and wonders against Pharaoh, against all his officials and all the people of his land, for you knew how arrogantly the Egyptians treated them. You made a name for yourself, which remains to this day.

那時他在埃及顯出他的神蹟，在瑣安的田野顯出他的奇事。他把埃及人的江河變成血，他們就不能喝其中的流水。他打發成群的蒼蠅到他們中間，吞噬他們；他打發青蛙，毀掉他們。他把他們的收成交給螞蚱，把他們的辛苦所得交給蝗蟲。他用冰雹毀了他們的葡萄樹，用嚴霜毀了他們的桑樹。他把他們的家畜交給冰雹，把他們的牲畜交給閃電。他向他們發出猛烈的怒氣——盛怒、憤怒和患難，像一隊降禍的使者。他為自己的怒氣修平了路，不惜讓他們死亡，把他們的性命交給瘟疫。他擊殺埃及所有的長子，在含族帳篷中擊殺他們強壯時頭生的。他領出自己的子民如同領出羊群，在曠野引領他們如同引領畜群。他引導他們安然行進，使他們不懼怕；海水卻淹沒了他們的仇敵。

如今我尼布甲尼撒稱讚、高舉、尊崇天上的王，因為他一切的作為都是確實的，一切的道路都是公正的，他能使行事驕傲的人降卑。

他把埃及頭生的，無論人或牲畜，都擊殺了。埃及啊，他在你當中降下神蹟奇事，落在法老和他所有臣僕身上。

原來經上有話對法老說：「我興起你，正是為此：好讓我藉著你來顯出我的大能，使我的名傳遍天下。」

兩人將他的神蹟行在埃及人中間，將奇事行在含族之地。他發出黑暗，使那地黑暗；誰也沒有違背他的話。他把他們的水變成血，使他們的魚都死了。他們的地上、甚至他們君王的內室，都爬滿了青蛙。他一發話，成群的蒼蠅就來，蚊蟲遍滿他們的全境。他在他們的全境降下冰雹為雨、閃電為火。他擊打他們的葡萄樹和無花果樹，打斷他們境內的樹木。他一發話，蝗蟲和螞蚱就來，數不勝數，吃盡他們地上的一切植物，吃盡他們土地的出產。他又擊殺他們地上所有的長子，就是他們強壯時頭生的。他領他的子民帶著金銀出來，他的眾支派中沒有絆倒的。

同樣，你們年輕的，當服從年長的。每個人當彼此以謙卑束腰，因為「神抵擋驕傲的人，賜恩典給謙卑的人。」

我們的祖先在埃及時，不明白你的奇妙作為，不記念你豐盛的慈愛，反倒在紅海邊悖逆。但他為自己名的緣故拯救他們，為要彰顯他的大能。他斥責紅海，海就乾涸了；他帶他們走過深淵，如同走過旱地。他拯救他們脫離仇恨者的手，從仇敵的手中救贖了他們。水淹沒了他們的敵人，連一個也沒有留下。

反而對天上的主高舉自己，讓人把他殿中的器皿帶到你面前來，你和你的大臣們、妻子們、妃嬪們都用這些來喝酒；你稱讚那些不能看、不能聽、不能知——用金、銀、銅、鐵、木、石所做的神明，卻不尊崇那位掌握你的氣息、掌握你一切道路的神。

他在埃及地，在瑣安的田野，在他們的祖先面前，行了奇妙的事。他將海分開，使他們過去，使眾水立起如壘。

當稱謝那擊殺埃及頭生的，因他的慈愛永遠長存！他把以色列從他們中間領出來，因他的慈愛永遠長存！就是用他大能的手和伸出來的膀臂，因他的慈愛永遠長存！當稱謝那把紅海分為兩邊的，因他的慈愛永遠長存！他使以色列從其中經過，因他的慈愛永遠長存！卻把法老和他的軍隊抖落在紅海中，因他的慈愛永遠長存！
