The Levites— Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan and Pelaiah— instructed the people in the Law while the people were standing there.

The Levites taught the Law to the people. They remained standing while the Levites taught them. The Levites who were there included Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai and Hodiah. They also included Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan and Pelaiah.

Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, the Levites, helped the people to understand the Law, while the people remained in their places.

The Levites— Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, and Pelaiah— then instructed the people in the Law while everyone remained in their places.

Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, and Pelaiah, who were Levites, explained the law to the people as they stood in their places.

Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites explained the Law to the people while the people remained in their place.

Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, helped the people to understand the Law; and the people stood in their place.

Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, and Pelaiah– all of whom were Levites– were teaching the people the law, as the people remained standing.

Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law; and the people stayed in their place.

耶書亞、巴尼、甲篾、示巴尼、布尼、示利比、巴尼和基拿尼，站立在利未人的臺階上，向耶和華他們的神大聲哀求。

下一段是由便雅憫和哈述，修築他們自己房屋對面的那段。再下一段由亞難尼的孫子、瑪西雅的兒子亞撒利雅，修築他自己的房屋旁邊的那段。

巴施戶珥的子孫中，有以利約乃、瑪西雅、以實瑪利、拿坦業、約撒拔和以利亞撒。利未人中有約撒拔、示每、基拉雅（又叫基利他），還有毘他希雅、猶大和以利以謝。

可以把耶和華藉著摩西告訴以色列人的一切律例，教訓他們。”

利未人有：亞散尼的兒子耶書亞、希拿達的子孫賓內和甲篾；還有他們的兄弟示巴尼、荷第雅、基利他、毘萊雅、哈難、

他們要把你的典章教訓雅各，把你的律法教訓以色列；他們要把香焚在你面前，把全牲的燔祭獻在你的祭壇上。

守門的有：亞谷和達們，以及他們的親族，看守各門，共一百七十二人。

他作王第三年，就差派他的大臣便．亥伊勒、俄巴底、撒迦利雅、拿坦業、米該亞，到猶大各城去教訓人。和他們同去的，還有示瑪雅、尼探雅、西巴第雅、亞撒黑、示米拉末、約拿單、亞多尼雅、多比雅和駝．巴多尼雅等幾位利未人；又有以利沙瑪和約蘭兩位祭司和他們同去。他們帶著耶和華的律法書，在猶大教訓人；他們走遍猶大各城，在民間教訓人。

管理米斯巴的區長耶書亞的兒子以謝修築接著的一段，對著軍械庫的斜坡、城牆轉角的地方。

因為我們神施恩的手幫助我們，他們就從以色列的曾孫、利未的孫子、抹利的子孫中帶一個敏悟的人到我們這裡來；還有示利比和他的兒子，以及他們的兄弟，共十八人。

又有利未人的族長沙比太和約撒拔，管理神殿的外務。

希西家慰勉所有善於事奉耶和華的利未人；眾人吃節筵七日，又獻上平安祭，稱頌耶和華他們列祖的神。

再下一段由利未人巴尼的兒子利宏修築；接著的一段由管理半個基伊拉的區長哈沙比雅為他本區修築。

利未人的族長是哈沙比雅、示利比、甲篾的兒子耶書亞與他們的兄弟相對站立，照著神人大衛的命令，按著班次讚美稱頌。瑪他尼、八布迦、俄巴底亞、米書蘭、達們和亞谷都是守門的，守衛城門的庫房。

還有亞撒利雅、以斯拉、米書蘭、

祭司以利亞金、瑪西雅、米拿尼、米該雅、以利約乃、撒迦利亞和哈楠尼亞，拿著號筒；又有瑪西雅、示瑪雅、以利亞撒、烏西、約哈難、瑪基雅、以攔和以謝；歌唱者在伊斯拉希雅領導下，高聲歌唱。

祭司有：西萊雅、亞撒利雅、耶利米、

經學家以斯拉站在為這事特製的木臺上；站在他右邊的，有瑪他提雅、示瑪、亞奈雅、烏利亞、希勒家和瑪西雅；站在他左邊的，有毘大雅、米沙利、瑪基雅、哈順、哈拔大拿、撒迦利亞和米書蘭。

祭司的嘴當保存知識，人要從他的口中尋求教訓，因為他是萬軍耶和華的使者。
