而主的奴僕不應該爭鬥；相反，要溫和地對待所有的人，善於教導，忍受惡待，溫柔地管教那些反對的人；或許神會賜給這些人悔改的心，到真理的知識當中。

喜愛管教的，就是喜愛知識；恨惡責備的，卻是愚拙。

耶穌天天在聖殿裡教導人。祭司長們、經文士們和民間的首領們想要殺害他，可是他們不知道怎樣下手，因為民眾都傾心聽他。
