So my God put it into my heart to assemble the nobles, the officials and the common people for registration by families. I found the genealogical record of those who had been the first to return. This is what I found written there:

My God put into my heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be listed by genealogy. I found the book of the genealogy of those who came up at the first, and I found this written in it:

此三家之人、尋其譜系而不得、故視為不潔、不容其為祭司、

多比雅、參巴拉、與女先知挪亞底雅、及其餘之先知、皆恐喝我、求我天主記其所為者、

所愛之兄弟、勿差謬、

我所愛者乎、爾常順服、不第我與爾同在之時、今我與爾不同在、更當畏懼戰慄、成爾求救之工、蓋天主循其善意、力行於爾中、使爾既立志亦成事、
