After thinking it over, I spoke out against these nobles and officials. I told them,“ You are hurting your own relatives by charging interest when they borrow money!” Then I called a public meeting to deal with the problem.

After seriously considering the matter, I accused the nobles and officials, saying to them,“ Each of you is charging his countrymen interest.” So I called a large assembly against them

So I thought it over and contended with the nobles and the leading people, and said to them,“ You are lending at interest, each to his brother!” Therefore, I held a great assembly against them.

After serious thought, I rebuked the nobles and rulers, and said to them,“ Each of you is exacting usury from his brother.” So I called a great assembly against them.

I considered these things carefully and then registered a complaint with the wealthy and the officials. I said to them,“ Each one of you is seizing the collateral from your own countrymen!” Because of them I called for a great public assembly.

Then I consulted with myself, and contended with the nobles and the rulers, and said to them,“ You exact usury, everyone of his brother.” I held a great assembly against them.

「我民中有貧窮人與你同住，你若借錢給他，不可如放債的向他取利。

不可向他取利，也不可向他多要；只要敬畏你的神，使你的弟兄與你同住。

「你借給你弟兄的，或是錢財或是糧食，無論甚麼可生利的物，都不可取利。借給外邦人可以取利，只是借給你弟兄不可取利。這樣，耶和華－你神必在你所去得為業的地上和你手裏所辦的一切事上賜福與你。

「你們施行審判，不可行不義；不可偏護窮人，也不可重看有勢力的人，只要按着公義審判你的鄰舍。

豁免的定例乃是這樣：凡債主要把所借給鄰舍的豁免了；不可向鄰舍和弟兄追討，因為耶和華的豁免年已經宣告了。若借給外邦人，你可以向他追討；但借給你弟兄，無論是甚麼，你要鬆手豁免了。

對他們說：「你們辦事應當謹慎；因為你們判斷不是為人，乃是為耶和華。判斷的時候，他必與你們同在。現在你們應當敬畏耶和華，謹慎辦事；因為耶和華－我們的神沒有不義，不偏待人，也不受賄賂。」

他不放債取利，不受賄賂以害無辜。行這些事的人必永不動搖。

「你借給鄰舍，不拘是甚麼，不可進他家拿他的當頭。要站在外面，等那向你借貸的人把當頭拿出來交給你。他若是窮人，你不可留他的當頭過夜。日落的時候，總要把當頭還他，使他用那件衣服蓋着睡覺，他就為你祝福；這在耶和華－你神面前就是你的義了。

在你中間有為流人血受賄賂的；有向借錢的弟兄取利，向借糧的弟兄多要的。且因貪得無饜，欺壓鄰舍奪取財物，竟忘了我。這是主耶和華說的。

你說：你們當尋求我的面。那時我心向你說：耶和華啊，你的面我正要尋求。

你們應當畏懼，不可犯罪；在牀上的時候，要心裏思想，並要肅靜。（細拉）

當面的責備強如背地的愛情。

這些事你要講明，勸戒人，用各等權柄責備人；不可叫人輕看你。

犯罪的人，當在眾人面前責備他，叫其餘的人也可以懼怕。

但那裏有耶和華的一個先知，名叫俄德，出來迎接往撒馬利亞去的軍兵，對他們說：「因為耶和華－你們列祖的神惱怒猶大人，所以將他們交在你們手裏，你們竟怒氣沖天，大行殺戮。如今你們又有意強逼猶大人和耶路撒冷人作你們的奴婢，你們豈不也有得罪耶和華－你們神的事嗎？現在你們當聽我說，要將擄來的弟兄釋放回去，因為耶和華向你們已經大發烈怒。」於是，以法蓮人的幾個族長－就是約哈難的兒子亞撒利雅、米實利末的兒子比利家、沙龍的兒子耶希西家、哈得萊的兒子亞瑪撒－起來攔擋出兵回來的人，對他們說：「你們不可帶進這被擄的人來！你們想要使我們得罪耶和華，加增我們的罪惡過犯？因為我們的罪過甚大，已經有烈怒臨到以色列人了。」

神站在有權力者的會中，在諸神中行審判，說：你們審判不秉公義，徇惡人的情面，要到幾時呢？（細拉）你們當為貧寒的人和孤兒伸冤；當為困苦和窮乏的人施行公義。當保護貧寒和窮乏的人，救他們脫離惡人的手。

後來，磯法到了安提阿；因他有可責之處，我就當面抵擋他。

所以，我們從今以後，不憑着外貌認人了。雖然憑着外貌認過基督，如今卻不再這樣認他了。

耶和華啊，誰能寄居你的帳幕？誰能住在你的聖山？

若是不聽他們，就告訴教會；若是不聽教會，就看他像外邦人和稅吏一樣。

主耶和華如此說：「以色列的王啊，你們應當知足，要除掉強暴和搶奪的事，施行公平和公義，不再勒索我的民。這是主耶和華說的。
