I considered these things carefully and then registered a complaint with the wealthy and the officials. I said to them,“ Each one of you is seizing the collateral from your own countrymen!” Because of them I called for a great public assembly.

Then I consulted with myself, and contended with the nobles and the rulers, and said to them,“ You exact usury, everyone of his brother.” I held a great assembly against them.

“我民中有贫穷人与你同住，你若借钱给他，不可如放债的向他取利。

不可向他取利，也不可向他多要；只要敬畏你的神，使你的弟兄与你同住。

“你借给你弟兄的，或是钱财或是粮食，无论什么可生利的物，都不可取利。借给外邦人可以取利，只是借给你弟兄不可取利。这样，耶和华你神必在你所去得为业的地上和你手里所办的一切事上赐福与你。

“你们施行审判，不可行不义；不可偏护穷人，也不可重看有势力的人，只要按着公义审判你的邻舍。

豁免的定例乃是这样：凡债主要把所借给邻舍的豁免了；不可向邻舍和弟兄追讨，因为耶和华的豁免年已经宣告了。若借给外邦人，你可以向他追讨；但借给你弟兄，无论是什么，你要松手豁免了。

对他们说：“你们办事应当谨慎；因为你们判断不是为人，乃是为耶和华。判断的时候，他必与你们同在。现在你们应当敬畏耶和华，谨慎办事；因为耶和华我们的神没有不义，不偏待人，也不受贿赂。”

他不放债取利，不受贿赂以害无辜。行这些事的人必永不动摇。

“你借给邻舍，不拘是什么，不可进他家拿他的当头。要站在外面，等那向你借贷的人把当头拿出来交给你。他若是穷人，你不可留他的当头过夜。日落的时候，总要把当头还他，使他用那件衣服盖着睡觉，他就为你祝福；这在耶和华你神面前就是你的义了。

在你中间有为流人血受贿赂的；有向借钱的弟兄取利，向借粮的弟兄多要的。且因贪得无厌，欺压邻舍夺取财物，竟忘了我。这是主耶和华说的。

你说：“你们当寻求我的面。”那时我心向你说：“耶和华啊，你的面我正要寻求。”

你们应当畏惧，不可犯罪；在床上的时候，要心里思想，并要肃静。细拉

当面的责备强如背地的爱情。

这些事你要讲明，劝戒人，用各等权柄责备人；不可叫人轻看你。

犯罪的人，当在众人面前责备他，叫其余的人也可以惧怕。

但那里有耶和华的一个先知，名叫俄德，出来迎接往撒玛利亚去的军兵，对他们说：“因为耶和华你们列祖的神恼怒犹大人，所以将他们交在你们手里，你们竟怒气冲天，大行杀戮。如今你们又有意强逼犹大人和耶路撒冷人作你们的奴婢，你们岂不也有得罪耶和华你们神的事吗？现在你们当听我说，要将掳来的弟兄释放回去，因为耶和华向你们已经大发烈怒。”于是，以法莲人的几个族长，就是约哈难的儿子亚撒利雅、米实利末的儿子比利家、沙龙的儿子耶希西家、哈得莱的儿子亚玛撒，起来拦挡出兵回来的人，对他们说：“你们不可带进这被掳的人来！你们想要使我们得罪耶和华，加增我们的罪恶过犯？因为我们的罪过甚大，已经有烈怒临到以色列人了。”

神站在有权力者的会中，在诸神中行审判，说：“你们审判不秉公义，徇恶人的情面，要到几时呢？细拉你们当为贫寒的人和孤儿伸冤；当为困苦和穷乏的人施行公义。当保护贫寒和穷乏的人，救他们脱离恶人的手。”

后来，矶法到了安提阿；因他有可责之处，我就当面抵挡他。

所以，我们从今以后，不凭着外貌认人了。虽然凭着外貌认过基督，如今却不再这样认他了。

耶和华啊，谁能寄居你的帐幕？谁能住在你的圣山？

若是不听他们，就告诉教会；若是不听教会，就看他像外邦人和税吏一样。

主耶和华如此说：“以色列的王啊，你们应当知足，要除掉强暴和抢夺的事，施行公平和公义，不再勒索我的民。这是主耶和华说的。
