So I thought it over and contended with the nobles and the leading people, and said to them,“ You are lending at interest, each to his brother!” Therefore, I held a great assembly against them.

After serious thought, I rebuked the nobles and rulers, and said to them,“ Each of you is exacting usury from his brother.” So I called a great assembly against them.

I considered these things carefully and then registered a complaint with the wealthy and the officials. I said to them,“ Each one of you is seizing the collateral from your own countrymen!” Because of them I called for a great public assembly.

Then I consulted with myself, and contended with the nobles and the rulers, and said to them,“ You exact usury, everyone of his brother.” I held a great assembly against them.

“如果你借錢給我的人民，就是與你們在一起的窮人，你對待他們不可像放債的人一樣，不可在他們身上取利。

你不可向他收取高利，卻要敬畏你的神，使你的兄弟可以與你一同生活。

你借給你兄弟的銀錢、食物，或是任何可以生利的東西，都不可取利。借給外族人，你倒可以取利；只是借給你的兄弟，你就不可取利；好使耶和華你的神，在你要去得為業的地上，和你手裡所辦的一切事上，賜福給你。

“你們審判的時候，不可行不義；不可偏袒窮人，也不可偏幫有權勢的人；只要按著公義審判你的鄰舍。

豁免的方式是這樣：債主都要把借給鄰舍的一切豁免了，不可向鄰舍和兄弟追討，因為耶和華的豁免年已經宣告了。如果借給外族人，你可以向他追討，但借給你的兄弟，無論你借的是甚麼，你都要豁免。

他對他們說：“你們行事，必須謹慎；因為你們審判，不是為人，而是為耶和華；你們審判的時候，耶和華必和你們同在。現在你們要敬畏耶和華；你們要謹慎行事，因為耶和華我們的神沒有不義，不偏待人，也不受賄賂。”

他不拿自己的銀子放債取利，也不收受賄賂陷害無辜；行這些事的人，必永不動搖。

“如果你借東西給你的鄰舍，不論所借的是甚麼，總不可走進他的家裡去拿抵押。你要站在外面，等那向你借貸的人把抵押拿出來給你。他若是個窮人，你不可留他的抵押過夜。到了日落的時候，你要把抵押品還給他，好使他可以用自己的衣服蓋著睡覺，他就給你祝福，這在耶和華你的神面前，就算是你的義了。

在你裡面有接受賄賂而流人血的；你借錢給人，收取利息，並且多要；你用欺壓手段向你的鄰舍榨取不義之財；你更忘記了我。這是主耶和華的宣告。

你說：“你們要尋求我的面！”那時我的心對你說：“耶和華啊！你的面我正要尋求。”

你們生氣，卻不可犯罪；在床上的時候，你們要在心裡思想，並且要安靜。（細拉）

坦白的責備，勝過暗中的愛。

你要傳講這些事，運用各樣的權柄去勸戒人，責備人；不要讓人輕看你。

常常犯罪的，你要當眾責備他們，使其餘的人也有所懼怕。

那裡有一位耶和華的先知名叫俄德，出來迎接回到撒瑪利亞來的軍隊，對他們說：“耶和華你們列祖的神因為惱怒猶大人，才把他們交在你們手裡，你們卻怒氣沖天，殺戮了他們。現在你們又想強迫猶大人和耶路撒冷人作你們的奴婢。難道你們自己就沒有得罪耶和華你們的神嗎？你們現在要聽我的話，把你們擄回來的兄弟釋放回去，因為耶和華的震怒已經臨到你們身上了。”於是以法蓮人的幾個首領，就是約哈難的兒子亞撒利雅、米實利末的兒子比利家、沙龍的兒子耶希西家和哈得萊的兒子亞瑪撒，起來阻擋從戰場回來的軍隊，對他們說：“你們不可把這些俘虜帶進來，因為我們已經得罪了耶和華，你們想增加我們的罪惡和過犯，我們的過犯實在嚴重，耶和華的震怒臨到以色列人身上了。”

神站在大能者的會中，在眾神之中施行審判，說：（本節在《馬索拉文本》包括細字標題）“你們不按公義審判，偏袒惡人，要到幾時呢？（細拉）你們要為貧寒的人和孤兒伸冤，為困苦和窮乏的人伸張正義。要搭救貧寒和窮困的人，救他們脫離惡人的手。”

可是，磯法到了安提阿的時候，因為他有該責備的地方，我就當面反對他。

所以，從今以後，我們不再按照人的看法認識人；雖然我們曾經按照人的看法認識基督，但現在不再這樣了。

耶和華啊！誰能在你的帳幕裡寄居？誰能在你的聖山上居住呢？（本節在《馬索拉文本》包括細字標題）

如果他再不聽，就告訴教會；如果連教會他也不聽，就把他看作教外人和稅吏吧。

主耶和華這樣說：“以色列的君王啊！你們所作的該夠了吧。你們要除掉強暴和毀滅的事，施行公平和公義。不要再掠奪我子民的產業。這是主耶和華的宣告。
