我及我子、與同宗何異、奚以我之子女、為人服役、我有數女為人所玷、欲拯無能、我之田園、為人所據。

Although we are of the same flesh and blood as our fellow Jews and though our children are as good as theirs, yet we have to subject our sons and daughters to slavery. Some of our daughters have already been enslaved, but we are powerless, because our fields and our vineyards belong to others.”

We belong to the same family lines as the rest of our people. Our children are as good as theirs. But we’ve had to sell them off as slaves. Some of our daughters have already been made slaves. But we can’t do anything about it. That’s because our fields and vineyards now belong to others.”

Now our flesh is as the flesh of our brothers, our children are as their children. Yet we are forcing our sons and our daughters to be slaves, and some of our daughters have already been enslaved, but it is not in our power to help it, for other men have our fields and our vineyards.”

We belong to the same family as those who are wealthy, and our children are just like theirs. Yet we must sell our children into slavery just to get enough money to live. We have already sold some of our daughters, and we are helpless to do anything about it, for our fields and vineyards are already mortgaged to others.”

Some of our daughters have been subjected to slavery, while we are powerless to help, since our fields and vineyards now belong to other people.”

Behold, we bring our sons and our daughters into bondage to be servants, and some of our daughters have been brought into bondage. 豈非頒食於飢者、導流離之貧民、寓於爾室、見裸者而衣之、不掩面於骨肉乎、

彼乃我弟、我之骨肉、毋著以手、莫若鬻於以實瑪利人、兄弟從之、

拉班曰、爾誠骨肉之親、雅各偕居一月、

茲有律例、當宣於民前曰、如購希伯來僕、可役事六年、迨七年、則使之自由、不索贖金、若孑身而來、則亦孑身而去、有妻則與俱去、若主給妻、生有子女、則妻孥屬主、僕孑然而去、若僕明言、我愛吾主、及我妻孥、不欲自由、則其主攜之詣上帝前、附門或門橛、以錐貫其耳、僕則恆事之、○如人鬻女為婢、則弗釋之、不與僕同、若主納之、而不見悅、則許其贖身、既已欺之、不可鬻於他族、若聘之與子、則當視之如女、若別有所娶、則其衣食之資、好合之誼、不可闕如、若不行此三者、則容其自去、毋索贖金、○
