Also I shook my lap, and said, So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labour, that performeth not this promise, even thus be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the congregation said, Amen, and praised the LORD. And the people did according to this promise.

我抖着衣服说：“如果你们不守誓言，愿上帝也这样抖掉你们的家园和你们劳碌得来的，使你们一无所有。”全体会众都说：“阿们！”他们赞美耶和华，民众都遵照誓言去行。

我抖着胸前的衣襟说：“不履行这话的，愿神也是这样抖他离开他的家和产业，直到抖空。”全体会众都说：“阿们！”又赞美耶和华。众人都照着这话去行。

我也抖着胸前兜兒說：『凡不實行這諾言的、願上帝照樣地抖他離開他的家和他所得的產業，直到都抖空了。』全體大眾都說『阿們』，又讚美永恆主。眾民就照這諾言而行。

我則振衣曰、凡不踐其言者、願上帝如是振之、俾離家室、及其職業、使之匱乏、會眾曰、阿們、遂頌讚耶和華、民依所許而行、

我則拂去衣上塵、曰、凡不踐其言、上帝必去之、有如此衣、離家室、失產業、使之匱乏。會眾曰、正所願也、遂頌讚耶和華。嗣後民咸從斯言。

我遂拂胸邊衣襟曰、凡不循此言而行者、天主亦必如此拂之、使離家宅產業、使之空匱、毫無所有、會眾曰、阿們、又頌讚主、斯後民從其言、

I also shook out the folds of my robe and said,“ In this way may God shake out of their house and possessions anyone who does not keep this promise. So may such a person be shaken out and emptied!” At this the whole assembly said,“ Amen,” and praised the Lord. And the people did as they had promised.

I also shook out my pockets and emptied them. I said,“ Someone might decide not to keep this promise they have made. If that happens, may God shake them out of their house! May he empty them of everything they own!” The whole community said,“ Amen.” They praised the Lord. And the leaders did what they had promised to do.

I also shook out the fold of my garment and said,“ So may God shake out every man from his house and from his labor who does not keep this promise. So may he be shaken out and emptied.” And all the assembly said“ Amen” and praised the Lord. And the people did as they had promised.

I also shook out the front of my garment and said,“ So may God shake out every person from his house and from his possessions who does not keep this promise; just so may he be shaken out and emptied.” And all the assembly said,“ Amen!” And they praised the Lord. Then the people acted in accordance with this promise.

Even thus may he be shaken out and emptied.” And all the assembly said,“ Amen!” and praised the Lord. Then the people did according to this promise.

In this way may he be shaken out and emptied!” All the assembly replied,“ So be it!” and they praised the LORD. Then the people did as they had promised.

Also I shook out my lap, and said,“ So may God shake out every man from his house, and from his labor, that doesn’t perform this promise; even may he be shaken out and emptied like this.” All the assembly said,“ Amen,” and praised Yahweh. The people did according to this promise.

And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook[ his] raiment, and said unto them, Your blood[ be] upon your own heads; I[ am] clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Blessed[ be] the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.

And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine,[ that is] better than thou.

Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.

And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all[ their] heart and all[ their] soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.

But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.

And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed[ be] he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed[ be] he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed[ be] he that lieth with his father’s wife; because he uncovereth his father’s skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed[ be] he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed[ be] he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed[ be] he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed[ be] he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed[ be] he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed[ be] he that confirmeth not[ all] the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Better[ is it] that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.

Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
