因為你們立志和行事都是上帝在你們心中工作，為要成就祂美好的旨意。

「我算什麼，我的人民算什麼，怎麼配向你奉獻？因為萬物都從你而來，我們只是把從你那裡得來的獻給你。

而且，我因為愛慕我上帝的殿，除了預備以上物品外，還把自己珍藏的金銀獻上，用來建造我上帝的殿。

感謝上帝！祂感動了提多的心，使他像我一樣熱誠地關懷你們。這固然是他聽了我們的勸告，但也是他自己非常熱誠，自願去你們那裡。

我的上帝啊，我知道你洞察人心，喜愛正直的人。我懷著正直的心甘願獻上這一切，我也看見你這裡的子民甘心樂意地將財物獻給你。我們祖先亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的上帝耶和華啊！求你使你的子民常存這樣的心志，使他們的心忠於你。

你跟仇敵作戰的時候，你的百姓必甘心跟從，他們衣著聖潔，如清晨的甘露。

在各樣善事上成全你們，好使你們遵行祂的旨意，並藉著主耶穌在你們心中動工，使你們做祂喜悅的事！願榮耀歸給上帝，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

以祿月二十五日城牆竣工，前後用了五十二天。

希西迦和民眾因上帝為他們所做的而歡喜快樂，因為這事情很快成就了。
