Do not cover up their guilt or blot out their sins from your sight, for they have thrown insults in the face of the builders.

耶和华啊！至于你，你知道他们要杀我的一切计谋。求你不要赦免他们的罪孽，不要从你面前涂抹他们的罪！使他们在你面前绊倒；求你在发怒的时候，对付他们。

“唯有我为自己的缘故，涂抹你的过犯，我也不再记念你的罪。

神啊！求你按着你的慈爱恩待我，照着你丰盛的怜悯涂抹我的过犯。

愿你在他们的惩罚上加上惩罚，不容他们在你面前得称为义。愿他们的名字从生命册上被涂抹，不要让他们和义人一同被记录。

我涂抹了你的过犯，像密云消散；我涂抹了你的罪恶，如薄云灭没，你当归向我，因为我救赎了你。

铜匠亚历山大作了许多恶事陷害我，主必按着他所行的报应他。

求你掩面不看我的罪恶，求你涂抹我的一切罪孽。

万军的神耶和华啊！你是以色列的神，求你醒来，惩罚万国；求你不要恩待那些背信弃义的恶人。（细拉）他们每晚都回来，好像狗一样狂吠，环绕着城行走。看哪！他们口中吐出恶言，他们嘴里吐出利刀，他们心里说：“有谁听见呢？”但你耶和华必讥笑他们，你必嗤笑万国。我的力量啊！我要仰望你，神啊！因为你是我的高台。我的神必以慈爱迎接我；神必叫我看见我的仇敌遭报。不要杀害他们，免得我的人民忘记了；主啊！你是我们的盾牌，求你用你的能力，使他们飘流无定，并且降为卑微。因他们口中的罪，因他们嘴里所说的话，愿他们在自己的骄傲中被缠住。因他们所说的是咒骂和欺骗的话，求你在怒中消灭他们，消灭他们，以致无一幸免，好使他们知道神在雅各中间掌权，直到地极。（细拉）

以利亚敬、舍伯那和约亚对拉伯沙基说：“请你用亚兰语对你的仆人说话，因为我们听得懂；不要用犹大语对我们说话，免得城墙上的人民听见。”但拉伯沙基说：“我主差派我来，只是对你和你的主说这些话吗？不也是对那些坐在城墙上，要和你们一同吃自己的粪、喝自己的尿的人说吗？”
