I looked, and rose up, and said to the nobles, to the rulers, and to the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them! Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

我簡閱之、起而告顯者民長、及餘民曰、勿懼之、其念大而可畏之主、為爾兄弟子女、妻室第宅而戰、

我簡閱之、遂告世職、諸伯、及餘民、曰、主至大可畏、爾當念之、毋恐懼、實為爾妻孥兄弟家室、而有是役、

我察閱之、遂起告顯者、民長、及餘民曰、勿懼之、當念至大可畏之主、當為爾兄弟、子女、與妻、及家屬而戰、

After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”

I looked things over. Then I stood up and spoke to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people. I said,“ Don’t be afraid of your enemies. Remember the Lord. He is great and powerful. So fight for your families. Fight for your sons and daughters. Fight for your wives and homes.”

And I looked and arose and said to the nobles and to the officials and to the rest of the people,“ Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.”

Then as I looked over the situation, I called together the nobles and the rest of the people and said to them,“ Don’t be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!”

After I made an inspection, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the great and awe-inspiring Lord, and fight for your countrymen, your sons and daughters, your wives and homes.”

When I saw their fear, I stood and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people:“ Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people,“ Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, who is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.

After I made an inspection, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the great and awe-inspiring Lord, and fight for your countrymen, your sons and daughters, your wives and homes.”

And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord,[ which is] great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.

When I had made an inspection, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the great and awesome Lord, and fight on behalf of your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your families!”

Only don’t rebel against Yahweh, neither fear the people of the land; for they are bread for us. Their defense is removed from over them, and Yahweh is with us. Don’t fear them.”

Be courageous, and let’s be strong for our people, and for the cities of our God; and may Yahweh do what seems good to him.”

Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.Behold, all those who are incensed against you will be disappointed and confounded. Those who strive with you will be like nothing, and shall perish.You will seek them, and won’t find them, even those who contend with you. Those who war against you will be as nothing, as a non- existent thing.For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you,‘ Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’Don’t be afraid, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel. I will help you,” says Yahweh.“ Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

So that with good courage we say,“ The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Then I said to you,“ Don’t be terrified. Don’t be afraid of them.Yahweh your God, who goes before you, he will fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes,

and said,“ I beg you, Yahweh, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments:

“ Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or dismayed because of the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude who is with him; for there is a greater one with us than with him.

and shall tell them,“ Hear, Israel, you draw near today to battle against your enemies. Don’t let your heart faint! Don’t be afraid, nor tremble, neither be scared of them;for Yahweh your God is he who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.”

Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.

For Yahweh your God, he is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who doesn’t respect persons or take bribes.

“ I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who will be made as grass?Have you forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth? Do you live in fear continually all day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he prepares to destroy? Where is the fury of the oppressor?

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God.

By awesome deeds of righteousness, you answer us, God of our salvation. You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, of those who are far away on the sea.

Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.”

Out of the north comes golden splendor. With God is awesome majesty.

and he said,“ Listen, all Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, king Jehoshaphat. Yahweh says to you,‘ Don’t be afraid, and don’t be dismayed because of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.Tomorrow, go down against them. Behold, they are coming up by the ascent of Ziz. You will find them at the end of the valley, before the wilderness of Jeruel.You will not need to fight this battle. Set yourselves, stand still, and see the salvation of Yahweh with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed. Go out against them tomorrow, for Yahweh is with you.’”

Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying,“ Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his Holy Spirit among them?”Who caused his glorious arm to be at Moses’ right hand? Who divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name?Who led them through the depths, like a horse in the wilderness, so that they didn’t stumble?

Tell God,“ How awesome are your deeds! Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you.

Yahweh is a jealous God and avenges. Yahweh avenges and is full of wrath. Yahweh takes vengeance on his adversaries, and he maintains wrath against his enemies.Yahweh is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. Yahweh has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.He rebukes the sea, and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers. Bashan languishes, and Carmel; and the flower of Lebanon languishes.The mountains quake before him, and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, yes, the world, and all who dwell in it.Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the fierceness of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken apart by him.Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.

Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Oh that you would tear the heavens, that you would come down, that the mountains might quake at your presence.As when fire kindles the brushwood, and the fire causes the water to boil; Make your name known to your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at your presence!When you did awesome things which we didn’t look for, you came down, and the mountains quaked at your presence.

Come, and see God’s deeds— awesome work on behalf of the children of men.

Then I thought,“ I will appeal to this: the years of the right hand of the Most High.”I will remember Yah’s deeds; for I will remember your wonders of old.I will also meditate on all your work, and consider your doings.Your way, God, is in the sanctuary. What god is great like God?You are the God who does wonders. You have made your strength known among the peoples.You have redeemed your people with your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they writhed. The depths also convulsed.The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook.Your way was through the sea; your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

I remember the days of old. I meditate on all your doings. I contemplate the work of your hands.

Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can’t be shaken, let’s have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,for our God is a consuming fire.

Behold, Yahweh your God has set the land before you. Go up, take possession, as Yahweh the God of your fathers has spoken to you. Don’t be afraid, neither be dismayed.”

for they could not stand that which was commanded,“ If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned”.So fearful was the appearance that Moses said,“ I am terrified and trembling.”

Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
