Therefore I set guards in the lowest parts of the space behind the wall, in the open places. I set the people by family groups with their swords, their spears, and their bows.

Therefore I stationed some of the people behind the lowest points of the wall at the exposed places, posting them by families, with their swords, spears and bows.

It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.

Behold, he also is behind us.’”He commanded also the second, and the third, and all that followed the herds, saying,“ This is how you shall speak to Esau, when you find him.You shall say,‘ Not only that, but behold, your servant, Jacob, is behind us.’” For, he said,“ I will appease him with the present that goes before me, and afterward I will see his face. Perhaps he will accept me.”

Behold, it is Solomon’s carriage! Sixty mighty men are around it, of the mighty men of Israel.They all handle the sword, and are expert in war. Every man has his sword on his thigh, because of fear in the night.
