After I made an inspection, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the great and awe-inspiring Lord, and fight for your countrymen, your sons and daughters, your wives and homes.”

我察看了，就起来对贵胄、官长，和其余的人说：“不要怕他们！当记念主是大而可畏的。你们要为弟兄、儿女、妻子、家产争战。”

我看了以後，就起來、對顯貴的人、對官長和其餘的人民說：『不要怕他們；要記得主是大而可畏懼，他要為你們的弟兄、兒女、妻子、家業而爭戰。』

我簡閱之、起而告顯者民長、及餘民曰、勿懼之、其念大而可畏之主、為爾兄弟子女、妻室第宅而戰、

我簡閱之、遂告世職、諸伯、及餘民、曰、主至大可畏、爾當念之、毋恐懼、實為爾妻孥兄弟家室、而有是役、

我察閱之、遂起告顯者、民長、及餘民曰、勿懼之、當念至大可畏之主、當為爾兄弟、子女、與妻、及家屬而戰、

After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”

I looked things over. Then I stood up and spoke to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people. I said,“ Don’t be afraid of your enemies. Remember the Lord. He is great and powerful. So fight for your families. Fight for your sons and daughters. Fight for your wives and homes.”

And I looked and arose and said to the nobles and to the officials and to the rest of the people,“ Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.”

Then as I looked over the situation, I called together the nobles and the rest of the people and said to them,“ Don’t be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!”

After I made an inspection, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the great and awe-inspiring Lord, and fight for your countrymen, your sons and daughters, your wives and homes.”

When I saw their fear, I stood and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people:“ Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people,“ Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, who is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.

When I had made an inspection, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the great and awesome Lord, and fight on behalf of your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your families!”

I looked, and rose up, and said to the nobles, to the rulers, and to the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them! Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

Only don’t rebel against the Lord, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land, for we will devour them. Their protection has been removed from them, and the Lord is with us. Don’t be afraid of them!”

Be strong! We must prove ourselves strong for our people and for the cities of our God. May the Lord’s will be done.”

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.Be sure that all who are enraged against you will be ashamed and disgraced; those who contend with you will become as nothing and will perish.You will look for those who contend with you, but you will not find them. Those who war against you will become absolutely nothing.For I, Yahweh your God, hold your right hand and say to you: Do not fear, I will help you.Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel: I will help you— this is the Lord’s declaration. Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore, we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

“ So I said to you: Don’t be terrified or afraid of them!The Lord your God who goes before you will fight for you, just as you saw Him do for you in Egypt.

I said, Yahweh, the God of heaven, the great and awe-inspiring God who keeps His gracious covenant with those who love Him and keep His commands,

“ Be strong and courageous! Don’t be afraid or discouraged before the king of Assyria or before the large army that is with him, for there are more with us than with him.

He is to say to them:‘ Listen, Israel: Today you are about to engage in battle with your enemies. Do not be cowardly. Do not be afraid, alarmed, or terrified because of them.For the Lord your God is the One who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.’

Don’t fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul; rather, fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

For the Lord your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, mighty, and awesome God, showing no partiality and taking no bribe.

I— I am the One who comforts you. Who are you that you should fear man who dies, or a son of man who is given up like grass?But you have forgotten the Lord, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. You are in constant dread all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, who has set himself to destroy. But where is the fury of the oppressor?

Some take pride in chariots, and others in horses, but we take pride in the name of Yahweh our God.

You answer us in righteousness, with awe-inspiring works, God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the distant seas.

Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Yet out of the north He comes, shrouded in a golden glow; awesome majesty surrounds Him.

and he said,“ Listen carefully, all Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat. This is what the Lord says:‘ Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast number, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.Tomorrow, go down against them. You will see them coming up the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the valley facing the Wilderness of Jeruel.You do not have to fight this battle. Position yourselves, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord. He is with you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Tomorrow, go out to face them, for Yahweh is with you.’”

Then He remembered the days of the past, the days of Moses and his people. Where is He who brought them out of the sea with the shepherds of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit among the flock?He sent His glorious arm to be at Moses’ right hand, divided the waters before them to obtain eternal fame for Himself,and led them through the depths like a horse in the wilderness, so that they did not stumble.

Say to God,“ How awe-inspiring are Your works! Your enemies will cringe before You because of Your great strength.

The Lord is a jealous and avenging God; the Lord takes vengeance and is fierce in wrath. The Lord takes vengeance against His foes; He is furious with His enemies.The Lord is slow to anger but great in power; the Lord will never leave the guilty unpunished. His path is in the whirlwind and storm, and clouds are the dust beneath His feet.He rebukes the sea so that it dries up, and He makes all the rivers run dry. Bashan and Carmel wither; even the flower of Lebanon withers.The mountains quake before Him, and the hills melt; the earth trembles at His presence— the world and all who live in it.Who can withstand His indignation? Who can endure His burning anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, even rocks are shattered before Him.The Lord is good, a stronghold in a day of distress; He cares for those who take refuge in Him.

Yahweh of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah

If only You would tear the heavens open and come down, so that mountains would quake at Your presence—as fire kindles the brushwood, and fire causes water to boil— to make Your name known to Your enemies, so that nations will tremble at Your presence!When You did awesome works that we did not expect, You came down, and the mountains quaked at Your presence.

Come and see the wonders of God; His acts for humanity are awe-inspiring.

So I say,“ I am grieved that the right hand of the Most High has changed.”I will remember the Lord’s works; yes, I will remember Your ancient wonders.I will reflect on all You have done and meditate on Your actions.God, Your way is holy. What god is great like God?You are the God who works wonders; You revealed Your strength among the peoples.With power You redeemed Your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. SelahThe waters saw You, God. The waters saw You; they trembled. Even the depths shook.The clouds poured down water. The storm clouds thundered; Your arrows flashed back and forth.The sound of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; lightning lit up the world. The earth shook and quaked.Your way went through the sea and Your path through the great waters, but Your footprints were unseen.You led Your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all You have done; I reflect on the work of Your hands.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us hold on to grace. By it, we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,for our God is a consuming fire.

See, the Lord your God has set the land before you. Go up and take possession of it as Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has told you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.

for they could not bear what was commanded: And if even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned!The appearance was so terrifying that Moses said, I am terrified and trembling.)

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom should I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom should I be afraid?
